Description

This Die-cast metal airplane model comes in 1:300 scale with plastic stand and is approximately 5 1/2 inches long with 4 1/2 inch wingspan. The 737-800 is a stretch version of the 737 Next Generation of short to medium range narrow- body jet airliners. It replaced the older 727-200 and the discontinued McDonnell Douglas MD-80 on most North American fleet. The -800 entered service in 1998. Southwest Airlines is the world’s largest low-cost airline. It was founded in 1967 as a carrier flying only within Texas. As of 2018, it has expanded to 101 destinations in the USA and carries the most domestic passengers of any airline. Southwest has almost exclusively flown Boeing 737 aircraft and is now the largest operator of 737s.

  • This plane is amazing
Style: Southwest
This is an amazing airplane model, the weight is amazing and the detail is just fantastic! you can see that it captured every little thing. one problem is that the nose gear breaks off when unboxed due to the really tight packaging. This is easy to fix with a toothpick and superglue, overall it is an amazing product, I recommend. ... show more

  • True to scale, lacks details, weird base stand
Style: Southwest
This is my first airplane model from the Daron Postage Stamp line. This is the Southwest reg N8556Z Boeing 787-800 at 1:300 (actually 1:310) scale. What’s nice about the model is it’s true to scale on all 3 dimensions: length, width and height. The landing gear is for display only and cannot roll. As a 1:300 model that measures exactly 5 inches in length, this particular product lacks good details in construction and paint job. It’s all-metal which makes it heavy, yet at the same time it feels cheaply made. Oh, I have to mention the base stand! Of the dozens of airplane die-cast models I have, this is the very first one that has the plane seated at a banking angle on the stand! See my photo accompanying this review. It just seems weird, and the stand itself is of poor build quality so any slight movement means the plane model may fall from the stand. ... show more

  • Buyer beware- Cheap - Broken right out the box
Style: Pan Am DC-10
Bought this for my 9 year old who collects planes. As soon as he opened it wheel fell off and engine part broke off while removing it from the plastic- not even 5 minutes later another wheel fell off.

  • Very good plane for collectors, but there's something wrong with it...
Style: Southwest
This is the second plane in my collection. It's very detailed and great for model airports. But the stand that comes with it does not want to hold the plane on it. For summary, this Southwest B737-800 is a perfect choice for a toy or a collectors item & etc.

  • A nice model

The media could not be loaded. The model is awesome! The detail is amazing and gear and engines spin. It is very accurate and giftable. And is easy to assemble
