Good salad box, unbeatable price. I’ll start with just a few cons, which almost made me knock my review down to 4 stars but ultimately, wasn’t that big of a deal to me: - Dishwasher safe-ish. I’ve put all of the pieces through the dishwasher multiple times now, and most of it has held up well. The white insert tray warped the first time in the washer, but not so badly that it doesn’t work anymore. I’ll be on the lookout for further warping, but so far it’s fine. - Smaller than expected. It’s still a good size and holds a filling salad with fixings, but the photos are certainly misleading. Those photoshopped strawberries make it look much bigger than it really is. (I did end up buying the bigger version, which is plenty big enough, solely so that I could make bigger salads to go through all my salad ingredients before they went bad) Pros that kept my reviews at 5 stars: - Works great, just as expected. I can put lots of leafs in the bottom, and fill the top with a ton of goodies and salad dressing and create a delicious fresh salad for my lunches. - The price. Enough said. - The added bonus I really love is that the white insert tray flips upside down and sets in perfectly to be able to toss the salad around, easily mixing in the fixings and dressing. This salad container has been a life-changer since I bought it! I used to bring my lunch to work 3 out of 5 days a week, and it would always be something less than healthy. When I bought lunch, it was fast food. A couple weeks ago, I decided I needed to change my eating habits, so I shopped around and found this salad container. I'm happy to say, I've already lost a few pounds thanks to this new addition! Two weeks in, I'm in love with this product. I purchased the 38 oz container, thinking the 52 oz would be too big of a portion size for me. The 38 oz container fits a good sized salad, along with a portion of croutons and my meat of choice in the partitioned compartments. The setup is great, and so far, I have not had any leaks with the sauce container. I just recommend washing everything by hand, especially the sauce container, as its closure piece is delicate. My only complaint is that I did have one of the four closure clasps fall off one day, but it easily snapped back on and is still fully functional. But, for under $10, I'm beyond impressed with this product. I may even buy the larger size for my fiance if he decides he wants to start making salads for lunch too. ... show more

I love the size and color of the container. Love the compartment and the dressing cup. It has a tight grip so no spills or leaks. Only thing I'm having an issue with is opening the tabs they are a bit hard to open and some of my nails broke trying to open it. Overall I love it and hope I get better in opening the tabs without breaking a nail. ... show more

I love everything about this. However the cup for dressing is too small to hold the amount of ranch I use. This container holds 5 cups of salad. Snaps are a little hard to close but just ensures no leaking out.

I am not a fan of this locking lid, it takes a lot of effort to properly close them. I use more force on this than is necessary for any of my other containers of similar style. I have tried rotating the lid, does not help. The portion size of this is great. The container itself is leak proof so far, but within the container liquids more around and the dressing container also leaks. Just not a fan ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves salads and taking them to her new job. This is perfect for just that. She loves all the compartments to keep all the elements of her salad separate until she is ready to eat it....leading to a fresh, yummy salad bite every time. Now I want one:). I purchased the 39 ounce size for $7. When it first arrived, I was worried that it was going to be too small for a filling salad, but after using it it actually held a salad large enough for me to turn it into two meals. The dressing cup is a good size. Most dressing bottles indicate a serving being 2 Tbs. This holds twice that amount, so I actually have to make sure not to fill it more than halfway if I'm using a full fat dressing. The lid fits very snug so nothing leaks and the ingredients stay where they're supposed to until I'm ready to eat. I like that you can take the top divider out as others have mentioned. I used to like to indulge in a pre-made Santa Fe salad bowl at the grocery store, but I hated the price and the copious amount of single-use plastic required to keep ingredients separated and lettuce crispy. This container is exactly what I needed, at a great price. I'm probably going to buy a few more to help with meal prep :) ... show more

    • NOT LEAK PROOF
I ordered this on Prime Day and was able to use it for the first time today. The dressing cup is not leak proof. The overall container may be, but the dressing cup is not. And I did not tip it over or throw it around. It was put in my purse for the walk from the car into the building, maybe 1 minute. The side of the cup and the hole for the cup had dressing in it when I opened for lunch. Also, it is hard to judge sizes from the dimensions and think about how much salad you normally eat. This is not large, at all. Bigger than a side salad at most restaurants, but fitting a meal sized salad plus toppings is a challenge. Then if you overfill, there is no way to stir it around. Plus the spork that comes with it has no spot once you put lettuce in the bottom. I guess you could lay the spork on top of your lettuce, under the tray, but then if you have anything other than lettuce in the bottom, like cheese, it is stuck to your utensil. Overall, the fork is useless, the size is not big, and the dressing cup is not leak proof. I certainly wouldn't send this to school with a child in the lunch box, especially if I can't put it in my purse without an issue. ... show more
