The media could not be loaded. This little battery pump has been awesome for my purposes. I have 2 now (one for home and one for work) and it works well on most non-oil fluids (it doesn’t work well on anything thick like engine oil). The pump I use at work has transferred everything from diesel to antifreeze and DEF without issue (only thing I suggest doing if you use 1 pump for multiple fluids is always flush the pump out with diesel last to prevent any corrosion/crystal build up). Also, the two adapter you get that let you use 3-AA batteries in place of a D battery make using this pump a lot more convenient, especially when you have as many rechargeable AA batteries as I do. If you are using fresh batteries, this thing pumps daily quick for its size too. I store around 100 gallons of diesel for emergency use and each year I rotate out my stores to keep everything fresh. Having a big commercial pump is too much for what I have and the little shaker attachments for siphon hoses can be a hassle to use when you’re only living 5 gallons at a time. ... show more

Originally bought this battery powered pump because our HVAC technician had a similar one and swore by it, said it's the best tool he's bought lately and saves him a ton of time. I got it because our AC coils have a hole in them and leak and water fills up the drain pan, meaning we have to scoop the water out with a cup which takes forever. We are working on replacing the whole unit but waiting on the new one to come in etc etc. Anyway, got this pump to buy us some time since we're pumping out the drain pan daily (sometimes more than once a day). The first one we received just didn't work. At all. It made a noise like it was trying to work, the batteries were good (tested) but it just wouldn't pull water. Sent it back and Amazon sent us another one. The second one worked perfectly for a few weeks. The weather got cold and the AC wasn't running much so we didn't need it for a few months. When I tried to use it again just a few months later, it was dead. Changed the batteries but still nothing. Now it's too late to return it so I just tossed it in the trash. It was really cheaply made and I guess it wasn't sealed well and water got in some of the components or something. It's unfortunate because the design and size of the pump is very nice, and I'm still looking for a small pump to save us time until our unit gets replaced later this month. ... show more

I had this for 6 months. Then one day it just stopped. Tried multiple batteries, and nothing. So if you’re wanting something for only a couple of months, this is great. But as for me, I’m back to the drawing board.

    • CAUTION ! You may need to rewire to make it Pump !!

My pump required me to rewire to motor wires, to the battery holder, so it would pump. The Factory transposed the motor's Red and White wires on the motor's connection board. This made the motor run backwards and thus it would not pump any fuel. Once I swapped the wires it pumped fuel very well. This is my second pump, of similar design, and both required swapping the Red and White motor wires to make it pump fuel. When properly wired the pumps work very well. If you do not have a service background, so you can comfortably rewire the motor wires on motor's connection board then you should not buy this pump. ... show more

We use this in our 5 gallon fertilizer buckets to keep it constantly stirred during use. Super simple, add batteries, drop into the bucket, make sure hose is inside the bucket and flip the switch! Will be buying more for each greenhouse.
