    • Very solid speaker -- works great!
Whenever I review any thing I always consider the cost to put things into perspective. We all know that speakers come in a variety of sizes and prices. Generally speaking the more expensive they are the better the sound and features are going to be. It would therefore be unfair to compare this speaker to other speakers I have in my house which cost 5 to 10 times more. I paid approximately $22 for this speaker, which is really inexpensive compared to other speakers I have bought throughout my life. All I wanted was for a portable speaker that I could take with me wherever I go that would deliver decent quality sound. This speaker will definitely do that for sure! For a smaller speaker I wasn't expecting it to have much bass, but I was pleasantly surprised. It sounds surprisingly good for a small speaker and especially considering how reasonably priced it was. Here are a few other things I like about this speaker: 1. It uses a USB-C type connector to charge the internal battery. That is much appreciated because I didn't want to have to have another type of cable to carry around with me. Many of the devices I already have utilize USB-C connectors so I don't have to worry about having a lot of different cables with me when I travel. 2. It uses Bluetooth to connect to whatever you are using to play the music, but it also can use an auxiliary cable (that is included) with 3.5mm jacks if desired. It pairs very easily, at least it did with my iPhone anyway. 3. It has an antenna that can be plugged into the aux port to listen to the built-in FM radio. I don't listen to broadcast radio very often, but if I ever want to this speaker will handle that. 4. There are 7 different "lights shows" that can be displayed while using the speaker. This is sort of nice because it provides a little bit of light and ambiance. It can also be turned off if not desired. 5. I believe this is a function of Bluetooth 5.1, but I thought that I would mention it anyway -- the music can be controlled (volume up or down, skip forward or backward, and pause) from the phone (obviously) or from the speaker. That is nice if the phone (or whatever you are using for the source of the sound) and the speaker aren't within arms reach. 6. The speaker has a microphone so that it can also be used with the phone as sort of a speaker phone. You can answer calls and talk through the speaker versus having to go get the phone to answer the phone. Overall, I was impressed at the quantity and quality of the sound that came out of this speaker. It is incredibly easy to grab it by its lanyard and haul it with me when I go out to the garage to work, or if I am outside on the deck, or whatever. I will also definitely be taking it with me whenever I travel so I can listen to music through it while I am in the hotel. I am very happy with the speaker and for the money it is definitely worth every dime -- it's a great value! ... show more

I purchased this wireless speaker as a simple and cost-effective way to wirelessly play podcasts and music from my phone, which is often hard to hear while I'm working outside or in my workshop over the din of power tools. To this end, the speaker performs great and has good volume and bass for the price. Setting up and pairing the speaker with my Android Pixel took all of 15 seconds and immediately started working. One thing that stands out is that this little speaker is jam-packed with features. The product works well as an alternative desktop PC speaker that can be attached via the included 3.5" audio cable. Integrated flashing LED lights are built-in that can be rotated through different color patterns or disabled when not needed. The packaging is well-built/sturdy and made a positive first impression when I opened the product. Included in the box is the speaker, a retractable radio antenna that plugs into the 3.5" aux jack for listening to FM stations; 3.5" audio cable for using the speaker with other audio devices; and a USB-C charging cable, To my surprise (not advertised on Amazon), the speaker also has a built-in microphone and can be used as a speakerphone for incoming calls.
