It just amazes me how sometimes you hit the jackpot without even trying. I bought this sink for a new island I built for the kitchen and it really exceeded my expectations. I love it's thick wall construction as it means I will use it for many years to come. The basket was unlike anything I've seen on a sink, it's big and never plugs up. I'm really happy with this sink. It's thick and feels really well made. I was surprised that it came with a drain too, although I didn't use it because I put in a disposer. The comments saying that it stains / it's hard to clean - that's pretty much the price you pay with Stainless steel. You have to wipe it out unless you don't have any minerals in your water. Even so, hit it with bar keeper's friend, and forget about having a pristine, scratchless sink. It's a sink, it's supposed to get used, it will get scratched. You can polish it out and make it look nice again. I had to drill another faucet hole, and discovered just how thick and durable the stainless steel was. After burning out two carbide hole saws that said they would go through stainless, I ended up getting this which cut a very nice hole: EZARC Carbide Hole Saw Heavy Duty, Hole Cutter for Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal 1-1/4'' 32mm. If you need an additional hole, i'd recommend it. ... show more

I ordered this after looking at review pictures and thinking maybe it would be black, but it’s definitely a dark dark charcoal color. Other than that, it looks amazing and is great quality! We’re keeping it regardless of it not being 100% black.

Great value for the money. The strainer is more of a basket, which could be a pro/con depending on what you’re used to. Offset faucet bothered me at first but once installed, gives it a modern look.
