I went to clean my teenaged son’s bathroom in total defeat and disgust. Friends claimed “do not clean it. He will eventually be so disgusted he will clean it himself…” Well friends, you underestimated my son’s love of pure filth and squalor, because it was a HORROR SHOW in there! After cleaning it to a hospital level, I could not shake the disgusting urine odor in the room? Where is it coming from? I cleaned, scrubbed and sterilized. Well, I sniffed the good wool rug and YES-he has poor aim and for the love of God-must have urinated on that rug like a drunk sailor from 1948. I tried Nature’s Miracle. Repeatedly. Still odor. I tried white vinegar. Repeatedly. Still odor. I finally saw the infomercial and caved in desperation! Well I am here to say-I applied EXACTLY as directed. I saturated the area and used old white towel rags to absorb stains (odor). I did the rug sniff test and after 3 rounds of this process (about ten minutes of labor) in three days, all odor is GONE. So I’m a covert. A tip-do not rely on the fine dispersed spray layer for a deep or thick pile wool rug. (About an inch thick) I poured it straight from the bottle to saturate all areas that had been hit by my crazy son. Frat houses need to buy a semi-truck tank full because it works. ... show more

It works really good. The little dog doesn’t use the same areas but uses other ones now. The commercial shows you only have to give the area a single spray but the directions say to saturate the area. Because I have a young dog that goes between going potty outside in good weather and won’t in bad weather I have many areas of the carpet near the backdoor and had to use about 3/4 of the bottle to get all the spots. I got this thinking it would work without having to spray so much. I gave it 4 stars because it does work and my house doesn’t smell like dog piss anymore. I was going to give it 3 stars because of having to use so much. All other products I’ve used in the past only work for a short time and even the ones used in a steam cleaner lasted a short time before some of the odor came back. ... show more

It worked! I have a new wooden trash tip-out cabinet that had a funny smell - quite noticable and unpleasant. It isn’t the trash itself - it seems to come from the wood. - but it certainly isn’t recognizable. I tried disinfect spray, Febreze Air spray, baking soda, a bowl of charcoal briquettes. I even sprinkled the bottom of the cabinet with the Arm & Hammer deodorant powder I use in the cat’s litter box! Nothing worked. I was desperate enough to spend nearly $20 for a 32oz bottle of Pooph. (Imagine spending that for a can of Lysol!) But .. Hallelujah ! It worked. There’s a slight hint of the weird smell left, but it is dramatically diminished. I’ll give it a second dose later, but even if it doesn’t completely eliminate it, I can live with this hint. I agree with the other reviews that mention the leaky spray bottle. I’m sure I can find a suitable sprayer that won’t dribble. It’s expensive - but worth it. (I hated that I thought I was going to have to ask my husband to burn the stinky cabinet - especially since he built it for me!) ... show more

    • Spray nozzle does not work

The product works quite well. I used it on barn floorboards on which my cats had been peeing--after I first cleaned the wood with soap and water, then a mix of white vinegar and water, and then a spray of Lysol disinfectant to kill bacteria. I had to spray the area with Pooph twice to eliminate the odor, and it seems to have done the job. My only issue with this relatively expensive product is that the nice plastic spray bottle's nozzle does not work, so I took off one star. The nozzle has two "stop" positions between an "on" spray position and another "on" position I couldn't identify but imagine is a squirt option. No matter what I did, I could not get the nozzle to operate. Nothing would come out of the bottle. I ended up pouring the contents of the bottle into a good-quality plastic spray bottle I had on hand, and that's where the Pooph will remain. For what Pooph is charging, the company should provide a bottle with a nozzle that works! ... show more

So far so good, wanted to see if the product worked for us. We have senior dogs who go to potty well when we’re home. If we have an appointment we usually walk the dogs well and put down training pads down in the bathroom in case they can’t wait until our return. Again, they do well going on the training pads, but sometimes they miss the mark and I started to feel like the bathroom was smelling like dog. When I got the Pooph I sprayed the bathroom floor well and let it dry. The second time was a charm, now I don’t get the odor I use to smell. Thankful for this product, hope they continue making it. I don’t have the anxiety of someone using our bathroom anymore. ... show more

    • Works Great - Spray bottle Bad... Again

I've purchased this product twice now, and had the misfortune of getting both styles of spray bottles. Like many other reviews here, the first item had the old spray bottle which leaked around the trigger, either that or you had to constantly prime the sprayer... spray-spray-spray to get the product coming out. Of course it squirts and sprays into the air which is not being used where needed. I guess they listened as the second order came with a completely new bottle. No more leaks but the design of the new bottle makes it very hard to hold onto for me. Another product I use, uses this same type of plastic and I can't hold onto it either. I've dropped this new Pooph bottle more times than I can remember but one time the spray top wasn't screwed on tight and I lost (spilled) most of the product. The product itself is great, they just can't seem to get a good spray bottle to deliver it in. Considering it's rather pricey, I think I'll get a cheap .99 cent spray bottle at Walmart and transfer it over. ... show more
