Style: Skunk Odor Eliminator - 32 oz Spray
This worked very well on the residual skunk odor left on my German Shepherd's coat after I bathed her, shampooing once with Dawn and once with Crest toothpaste (friend's secret formula). The third step was to dab her remaining spots with Scope mouthwash, but I was having to do this more frequently than usual, possibly because of her thick nylon, personalized, collar. I bought the Pooph at the suggestion of my mom, and I immediately used it as soon as it was delivered. When I applied it, the skunk odor immediately intensified, which I expected because of the directions, but as soon as her coat dried, the odor was gone. Several days later, after she was out in the rain, the odor returned, and I sprayed her with a little more Pooph. She has now been odor-free for nearly a week. I am very, very pleased with this product. My dogs have had quite a few run-ins with skunks over the last 20+ years (6 in the last 10, both GSDs - long fur 😓), and this product has worked the best and seems like it is much less drying to my dog's skin than the mouthwash, and definitely has less odor/possible irritation to the dog's sensitive nose. I would happily recommend to anyone having to de-skunk their dog, and would also be inclined to try/trust the other Pooph products. Style: Pet Odor Eliminator & Laundry Additi...
I highly recommend this product for use on furniture (to refresh and eliminate that "outside" odor from the pup), the laundry (my pup is a little spoiled and has several blankets for daily use and they need a little laundry boost every now and then....no one wants to snuggle with that dirty dog smell wafting in their face), and I even spray my rugs for a quick refresher. I am a travel nurse and my pup travels with me. I use this spray in every house I rent while on the road. It does not stain, it is not an overwhelming perfume smell, and it is supereasy to spritz out on any surface for a nice clean refresher. I have used several other products that have claimed to eliminate odor, but this one is the real deal. My pup suffered from stress induced incontinence and sometimes if we are not in a great housing situation, she gets a little stressed. On one contract, she had an episode on a brand new mattress! I immediately grabbed a towel and stopped up as much as I could; I then sprayed the area.....soaked the area was more like it....but I left the sheets off for a while and let the product do it's job! Because I had saturated the area, before going to bed I folded a clean towel and placed it over the area before placing the sheet on the bed. There was no smell, no stain, no mold, no mildew, no perfume cover up....NOTHING!!!! I pressed my nose into the area days later to make sure there was nothing remaining on that mattress! Yes, that living situation was not good for anyone and yes, I learned a lot on that assignment, but I also now travel with water proof blankets that cover the mattress and all other areas that she may be on. However, I also still travel with this as well! It also works pretty good if you can not get your pup a bath immeadiately after they have decided that the area with the duck poop on the local golf course is the only place she can roll. Give her a little spray down before getting back in the truck and we both can ride in peace without gagging and needing to roll every window down.
