The parka is warm and snug, fitting nicely and appearing to be of high quality. It's great for wearing when I ride my electric stand-up scooter in a seated position, keeping me comfortably warm against the wind. However, due to its length, it's not ideal for sitting.

This Pooluly men's hooded Winter coat (Black, X-Large) is well-designed and constructed. It is 100% polyester so it should last a long time if properly cared for. (The care instructions suggest washing in cold water, no bleach, no ironing, and no tumble drying. So drip-drying or line drying is probably best for caring for this coat.) And if you are allergic to down, don’t fear the word “down” in the sales listing because this coat is pure polyester - both shell and lining, too. So no “feather-down” to sneeze at in this coat. The coat arrives - as much clothing does now-a-days - vacuum-packed. That could be a big help if you are wanting to gift this item since wrapping a vacuum-packed rock-hard coat is so much easier than trying to wrap a coat once it is “fully inflated.” But never fear, once the vacuum-packed coat is cut free of the plastic overwrap, it fully fluffs-up and is ready to go in mere minutes. The polyester shell this coat is made of should provide a very effective windbreak. And the cuffs are nicely designed to keep out blasts of cold air. And there is a white fluffy “fleece” lining inside the hood for extra warmth. And since the hood and the faux fur around the face are both zippered and removable, this coat can be easily customized based on either temperature or style considerations. And with the fur and hood removed, this coat should be comfortable to wear in Fall and Spring temperatures, too. And the two gigantic pockets were a surprise. They should come in very handy during cold weather for stashing all kinds of Winter weather items like gloves, scarves, etc. And the inside pocket looks to be very useful for something like a cellphone. One concern i have is the main zipper. It looks to be very heavy duty but it is a brand i am not familiar with (3F.) I focus on that because the main zipper is almost always the failure point for any jacket or coat. And so i will be watching that zipper for signs of failure. (The two much smaller zippers on the hood and the faux fur are not as concerning since those zippers are used much less often and are under much less stress; So those two zippers are much less apt to fail.) One more point about the main zipper - it is a single-direction zipper; It does not allow for opening up the bottom of the coat “for bathroom breaks.” So if you find yourself depending often on double-sided zippers for that feature, this might not be the best coat for you. Wow! This is a super nice heavy duty winter jacket! It's sizing it spot on too. I sized up and it was big on my son, but it will be ok because he will fit it next year too! This has really nice big pockets and the hood is lined in fur. I really like that you can remove the hood if you want. My son is autistic and he doesn't like hoods, but in the bad winter months I have to make him wear them on his coats . We live in Pennsylvania, so it sleets and snows alot. The outter shell of this feels like it is either waterproof or atleast repellent. The inside is nice and cozy too. I know this jacket is going to keep him nice and warm this winter. It's definitely not a fall or spring jacket. The zipper works without hinder too. That's a big thing for my son. It also has button closure along with the zipper to keep out the wind! This truly is a nice winter coat and will last a long time. It's well made and thick. ... show more

I ordered this ‘Pooluly Men's Winter Puffer Parka Jacket’ to keep in our motorhome when I needed a need a heavier coat. I liked the fact it didn’t appear to be too bulky…i.e. it would take up too much closet space. This ‘Pooluly Men's Winter Puffer Parka Jacket’ is actually a very nice coat…for the most part. It is lightweight but, at the same time, seems like it will be quite warm. After just having it on for a couple of minutes, I started to get warm. The coat does run on the small side, though. I normally wear an XL but ordered a 2XL because it was imported. Even in that larger size, it still feels tight across the shoulders and chest. It’s adequately long enough, though. This ‘Pooluly Men's Winter Puffer Parka Jacket’ seems to be well constructed. The seams are all tightly stitched with no gaps in them. The quality of the nylon seems ok as well. I’m not crazy about the material used on the cuffs. It’s thin and doesn’t have a lot of stretch. I can see it getting misshapen over time. The one thing I don’t like about this coat is the lack of pockets in my opinion. There used to be only one inside pocket in it. Granted, it’s quite large and deep, but it doesn’t have a snap on it or Velcro. It needs at least one more pocket inside. On the outside of the cost, there are three pockets, but another couple wouldn’t hurt. One other thing I don’t like about this ‘Pooluly Men's Winter Puffer Parka Jacket’ is the hood. It seems to me to be too big for the cost…like it doesn’t fit. It’s quite annoying hanging down the back of your head. All in all, despite the couple drawbacks I mentioned, this ‘Pooluly Men's Winter Puffer Parka Jacket’ will work for me in the RV. It seems warm…is well made….and doesn’t take up a lot of closet space. ... show more
