The design of this custom billiards light is absolutely perfect for creating the right ambiance in a billiards room (love the pool balls on top). It complements the surroundings, adding a stylish touch to the space. Installation was easy enough, even without the most comprehensive instructions. The process was straightforward, and I had the light mounted at the optimal height (around 35 inches) for my 8-foot billiards table. This billiards light provides great lighting for the playing area. Overall this billiard light looks really cool, built pretty solid, and is simple to assemble. It has 2 chains and connectors running to the ceiling; one connects to the electric box and the installation instructions are clear. The second non-electrified connector is ignored completely in the instructions, so you are on your own. It includes another metal bar with threaded tube for the second chain to attach to, so I used spring loaded expanding anchors to connect it to the ceiling, and drilled out a center hole for the threaded tube to go up into because if you leave it flat it will still out too far. Like I said the instructions don't mention it at all, and I found nothing on line anywhere addressing it. But once you get past that, everything else is fairly easy, but you will be standing on your pool table to do it. ... show more

We bought this light for a bar pool table. It’s a great accent, and we get lots of compliments on the aesthetics. It was pretty easy to hang, even though we mounted on a drop ceiling which required extra supporting. The whole light is very well constructed and the shades are a pretty heavy metal. We have been very pleased with the amount of light it puts on the pool table. We did add a dimmer switch so we can adjust it to the the mood at the bar. ... show more
