This pump has two outlets - one produces twice as much air flow as the other (?), AND the total amount of air produced from both outlets is weak, much less than the old pump it replaced. I am disappointed and would not recommend this pump.

I've had the smaller Vcraze aerator with 2 outlets for a few months. The small aerator is great for my 20-gallon quarantine tank. I love that aerator, so when this 4-air outlet aerator became available, I ordered it to use with my outdoor pond. This aerator comes with an insane amount of hose, which is great for getting the air stones to different areas of the pond. The stones are about 2" round in diameter. It's not quite as big as a billiard ball, but it's close. Setting this pump up is easy. Just cut the length of hose you need, attach to the pump, split the hose and add a check valve if needed, then attach the air stone. You also get additional filters for replacing the filter on the back of the aerator if needed. Sound-wise, this makes a low/deep hum when it is on. And it pushes out A LOT of air. When I first started it up, I only had air going to two air stones. The issue was the check valves for the other two lines. I simply removed the lines with the air stones, then removed and re-inserted the check valves and that fixed the issue. Overall, I love the quality of the Vcraze pond aerators. They've not failed me yet; they're strong aerators that go non-stop without any hiccups. ... show more

We just added a small pond in our yard over this summer and needed something that would help fight back against algae building up. This worked out great. You get 4 lengths of hose with 4 separate aerators and the pump itself. I did end up picking up an enclosure to house the air pump as I didn’t want to leave it out in the open. After placing the aerators evenly around the pond I fired up the pump and watched the little bubbles start to come up from the bottom. I’ve had this working for a few weeks now and everything seems to be running just fine. The pond is staying nice and clean with no signs of algae. I ended up putting it on a timer as I didn’t want to have it running 24/7. Overall this is a nice aerator that seems to be doing its job just fine. Would recommend. ... show more
