The battery life was a problem where even with charging the battery was bad. I just had bought new ones to replace the ones in them and they worked fine after that. They do get lost pretty easily so I actually have never gotten to hear the kids try talking to one another that often versus even just keeping them charged and ready to play with. There is so much going on that this kind of toy is great for nostalgia but, my children may be too young to really enjoy it besides clicking the buttons and playing with the flash light feature. ... show more

Beware of strangers and weirdos being able to talk to your children through some of the radio frequencies that can be accessed through the walkie talkies. I heard a random guy saying hello to my children while they were playing and I said what was that?! They said they had heard it once earlier that day but wasn’t sure if it was just apart of the walkie talkie function.
