It's very hard to nitpick and not give this product a solid fiver star. First off for the price you get the console, mic, mic arm stand, shock mount, pop filter, cables and everything you need to get started. Secondly you would think "you get what you pay for" but the microphone performs as well, if not better, than a $300 microphone. It's sturdy, heavy and sounds great. The pop filter alone is one you would purchase for about twenty dollars. The console has so many inputs and possibilities and does a great job. Furthermore, the fact that it has a rechargeable battery inside is amazing. And while it's light in weight it does not feel cheap or falling apart. Even the XLR microphone cable looks and feels of great quality. The USB wires are dollar store but seriously, you should be happy they are included and work as opposed to many who don't include anything. I consider myself a semi-professional and not a novice. I purchased this after seeing the review on YouTube because I wanted another mic and little console to control my input instead of doing too much post on the sound. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it and it's definitely a keeper. For someone starting out, it's all you could ever need to do podcasts, Internet radio or some voice over in your computer for editing. This is a rare case of extremely well made equipment for such a low price. If I really want to nitpick, I'll say the arm is not the best and might over time of pulling break but time will tell. And considering it basically comes free with all the stuff you get and that it works and does the job without any problems what can I possibly complain about. bought this because i wanted to start a podcast. And this is actually not bad it sounds good and the sound effect pads are really easy to program.

    • Buzzing noise in the background.
We wanted to start a podcast that didn't break the bank and, yes this product is the way to go if you want to do a solo product. The buzzing noise isn't as noticeable but once you try and connect two mics you get a bad buzzing noise that you cant quite hear as much while recording until the finished product. Pros: The price is great for beginners who want to "start" a podcast, but not keep it for your show for long. This seems to be good for live streaming and gaming. Cons: The buzzing noise is just bad. It will discourage you. If you want superb quality this is probably not what you want to use for a podcast that is, or as far as competing with other shows that many enjoy to listen to for the quality and content. ... show more

    • Generally bad quality
Just for creditability, I have about 20 years of experience as an audio engineer. Here are the issues I've noticed, in no particular order: 1. The whole unit is noisy. Probably needs to be grounded, but there's no way to do it. When the lights are turned on, it makes the noise worse. 2. ALL the faders and nobs don't work correctly. They have hotspots and are not smooth. In other words, sometimes I turn the nob to 25% but get 0%, and if I just barely move it up from 25%, I get 30%. This is the same for the faders: when I move some faders to 10%, it sounds like 50%, and then just barely moving them takes them from 50% to 0%. It's impossible to get a good mix without accurate nobs and faders. 3. The mute button also mutes the monitor output instead of just the mic input, as it says in the instructions. 4. The mic is decent quality, but there's no way to set the gain, and it often clips when I'm using it. Having a mic that I can't adjust the gain is pointless. 5. Output 1 doesn't work properly. 6. Many of the female plugs in the back move around when I plug things into them, especially the USB-C port. I would stay clear of this unit. I do regret my purchase, and I will eventually get something better. ... show more

    • This is quantity over quality product
To be fair and brutaly honest the mic itself is ok, the sound board is garbage as it emits a hum when ever you speak and the there is no middle ground when adjusting echo, treble or bass. after updating to windows 11 the quality just shot out the window as now when i record its just a constant hum and static when speaking, if you purchase this just beware, its not a good board for streaming or podcast.,(edit), while this might not be the best out there, the customer service was quick to fix the issue and took care of their customer, thus I am thankful for. ... show more

I had a few issues with connecting to the Xbox, but the company was wonderful about assisting with the situation and even offered a refund for the trouble. In this day and age, customer service is nonexistent, but I would buy from this company again, based on this interaction. 100% satisfied!

    • Doesn't interface with a windows 11 system.
Was hoping for an easy installation. Still after several months can't get it fully functional. Knobs are a little wonky and there is always a slight echo when set to minimum. Maybe windows 11 wont work with it. My laptop never seems to recognize the mixer mic or speaker as shown in the videos and directions.. ... show more
