It gave my cookies a pretty gold sheen but the chemical smell it left in the room afterwards was horrible!! maybe from the aerosol??? It was def overpriced as well. It covered maybe 15 cookies at the most!!

The spray does what it's meant to do. Give your chocolates a golden shiny look. But you need to put on more than 1 coat. Had originally did light dusting on milk chocolate, but after a 2-3 hours, golden color was barely visible. Even more so when you put chocolate into cellophane bag. Do 2-3 layers (spray lightly over 2-3 times, instead of 1 very heavy application). If you put too heavy of application, it runs and looks messy. I used this to make Chips Ahoy cookies look like "Ships Ahoy" gold doubloons for a Pirates of the Caribbean party. The spray worked well but it didn't coat the cookies to look like gold as much as I imagined. I probably needed to give them a second or third coat.     • Not Metallic Gold
If you are looking for metallic gold this is not what you are looking to use. This came out golden yellow with very little metallic. Would not use again if I needed metallic gold.
