So to start off, I am not the ideal client for this product. I don't have a skincare regimen and I don't have blackheads. I occasionally get pimples. I will try this the next time one appears. With this in mind, I tested all three modes and this thing is different. In the first or extract mode, it gently vibrates and sends a tingly sensation through your skin and skull. In the second or infuse mode it makes a different sound and almost feels like being shocked but you are not being shocked. The third or lift mode sends high-pitched sounds through your head! So once again, I'm not the ideal client but will try it when the next pimple appears and may try the infuse mode with some lotion. ... show more

This spatula is easy to use and comfortable to hold. It charges quickly and holds the charge. The vibrations can be changed and adjusted. The machine is a little expensive for the return benefit and needs to be used with certain skin lotions to get best results

The reason I’m giving this four stars is because I’m knocking a point off because it lacks clear instructions/directions on how to use this. To use it as a pore extractor you need to have your face damp. I use this after I got out of the shower and continue to use hot water on my face to allow the pores to stay open. I’m assuming there’s some type of ultrasonic or electronic charge that goes through and stimulates/vibrates the debris out of the pores. I wanted to see if this thing really worked so I did half my nose, (it was challenging), but I could clearly see a difference between each side. I could also feel a difference, both on the surface and a tingly type of sensation. Not a bad tingly, but a good tingly. Even though I could not see anything that was removed on the device itself, a lot of the coloration from the side I did was removed. ~ I’m assuming the coloration is a combination of dirt and oil. Of course, this is not a one and done type a deal to get the pores smaller. In order to do that you’ll need to keep the pores clear so they go back down to normal size. – (The reason they got larger in the first place is because the extra dirt and oil that have been accumulating in them have dilated them.) I really like this device and love the fact that it’s cordless and fits in your hand nicely. It’s not heavy or bulky and holds a charge quite well. When you do need to charge it you’ll need to use a standard charging cable, the one included with the device, and not a fast charging cable with two types C plugs. When I went to charge it, I use the fast charging cable and it wouldn’t charge, then I use the cord it came with, and had no problems. ... show more

So, I got this and I was totally skeptical. It didn't feel like it was doing much. But as I tested it by using it in an bad area and then immediately turning it off. I was able to see on the spatula all the way, oily build up. My pores didn't look any different at first. Then I took a shower and about a hour later they defiantly looked smaller and less dark. The place is saw the best results is in the creases at the sides of my nostrils. Almost immediate improvement in that area. The skin and pores were immediately lighter and less bruised looking, telling me the black heads were removed. This is very light and easy to use. Love it and didn't expect too. ... show more

I'm pretty skeptical on if this thing actually works. The instructions are impossible to figure out so you kind of just have to figure it out on your own or search it online to figure it out. After using this for awhile I don't see dramatic results, especially for the price of this thing. You're better off buying something a lot cheaper and that you can actually understand the directions on. ... show more

I think this is a nice option if you're looking for an addition to your skincare routine, but it truly doesn't do anything miracle working if that's your goal, I'd say after a few months of use, my pores have improved about 5%

    • Funky Pseudo Science That May or May Not Work?

Honestly, still pretty mixed on this product. I can kind of grasp the concept but it doesn't really give me confidence in knowing if it provides any tangible advantages over not having the spatula. Operation is fairly simple. The most apparent effect of this is the vibration action, which is surprisingly nuanced for something this small. It does work at extracting, which is definitely good to have for a skin spatula, but I am not exactly sure if it really works any better than something significantly cheaper. Other modes seem to function similarly, and I can't exactly tell if the ions are working to improve my skin more than without. Overall, you could try it if you're desperate for something like this. If you're that kind of fellow, surely the placebo effect would do more wonders than this might. ... show more
