I bought a similar doll at Walmart and ordered this one as well, and the main purpose was to try to help my daughter (age 5) with the bad habit of twisting and pulling on her own hair. They’re both soft and cute and come with cute descriptions. The one from Walmart was a maybe $2 dollars cheaper, but within a day several pieces fell off. There was hardly anything to the Walmart doll, either, it was flatter, not much yarn “hair.” This one, however, is holding up really well. “Charlie’s good to me. I think he’s nice, and he’s pretty cool too.” We’ve had this doll for one day, and my son recently turned 4. This morning he let his almost 2yo sister borrow Charlie for a doctors visit where she had blood drawn and she was so happy to have him along, she also squeezed him tight during the draw. We think he’s a really good friend. Totally recommend this doll for all doll purposes, he’s soft & smiley. I do wish he were organic cotton instead of polyester for how up close and personal he’ll be with the kids in his future, but the design is great. Kids love him! ... show more
