    • Some pieces tricky for my 3 y/o… but so nostalgic!

My 3.5 year old really wanted a Mr. Potato Head for Christmas. This looked like a great deal because it came with so many accessories. The little suitcase/container it comes in is so great! I love all of the different pieces it comes with, and it even has a few props. He hasn’t been playing with it as much as I thought he would. He’s really good with his hands and has amazing fine motor skills (he’s already building things with tiny legos), but for some reason he has trouble with it. Maybe it gets looser o over time, but half of the pieces are really hard to put in (even for myself). He also doesn’t understand how to attach things like mustaches (which hang underneath the nose piece). A lot of the arms are really hard to stick in, but I expect the holes to get a little easier as we play with it. For now, it’s in a corner collecting dust. I highly recommend it though! Reminds me of my childhood. 🙃 ... show more
