The extended shaver works great. It does take practice. Using the wider attachment is a little hard on my skin, once I got used to it. It worked great. I would give it a 4 STAR. I did purchase three other items at the same time. The head shaver, the ear & nose trimmer, and the body groomer. The body groomer works good But it did pull a few hairs. So it too, requires practice. I would give it a 4 STAR. The nose and ear trimmer SUCKS ASS!!! Don’t buy. For that trimmer, don’t waste your energy buying it. It will disappoint. I would not give a 1 STAR. Later on I purchased some Bluetooth Wi-Fi smart tweezers, they work great with my cell phone for my nose and ear hairs, I can’t see. Next the body trimmer it works great while giving a good shave real close to your balls. Most of all it takes practice. So take your time. An electric shaver near my balls is kind of scary. Especially when it pulls a hair or two and it did. I would give the body trimmer a 4 STAR. Now for the complaints, you already know how I feel about the nose trimmer. Next The head shaver I used it once, Then it died and never worked again and that sucks because I liked it. I would give it a 4.5 STAR. But It quit working so a 1 STAR, unless you have a head trimmer that keeps working then it’s a 4.5 STAR. Well, I hope the company MANGROOMER. Takes care of me on their platinum pro edition’s. If not I’ll never change this post. But I was told that if you have a problem, man-groomer wants you to contact them directly. So they can take care of it for you. I don’t know. I will give it a try. I only ask because I am over my return time with Amazon. Like I was only going to use the head shaver twice a year. But after the first time I used it, it died. After all I bought the Platinum Pro Edition by Man-Groomer shaver and trimmers. So I expected it to work as advertised it was the best they had. Perfect tool for self grooming your back this is my 3rd one my first 2 lasted about 4-5 years each before they stopped holding a charge . The platinum offers the wider head for more coverage . Great battery life . Extremely flexible and angles and locks into place to cover the entire back . Easy to clean with a brush and some cool care spray ( to keep it hygienic). I bought this to upgrade the original one I bought about 10 years ago(the original was a champ!) this one is decent, works well and has multiple tips. It is super loud when you run it, but works well.

    • DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
I want to start by saying I’ve had mangroomer razors for much of the past decade. The first was a good start and a blessing when you are a guy with a very hairy back. It lasted for a while but eventually died. The second razor was supposed to be more heavy duty, and definitely did a better job, but eventually died as well. I went through two of these more advanced models over the years. Recently I decided to get this top of the line model from man groomer and I’ve never been more disappointed in my life. There seems to be a massive quality control issue going on. The reviews on this are either it’s amazing or it’s a piece of junk. For me, it’s a piece of junk. Two of the initial razor heads in the set broke because you could not open them to empty them. You’re SUPPOSED to be able to open them. When I tried I winded up breaking them to get them open and I discovered…. Glue!? On the inside. Glue!? Why would you have to glue the razor that you’re supposed to be able to open shut? Unless it was refurbished and you sold it as new. I had several replacement razor heads sent to me. All cut worse than the original razors I had years back. All had the same glue both on the inside AND where the pieces connect. I was sent another replacement head that was this time wrapped in plastic. As if it was actually new! So I finally go to use it and after charging the batter for a full day…. It died immediately. And I mean within one second of being turned on. I plug it in to charge and the light is green as if it’s fully charged. The quality has been going down while the price has gone up. I can no longer recommend this company or their products. In fact I would strongly recommend AVOIDING this razor at all costs. Frankly, I’m an attorney and I have to wonder if this company will see a product liability case in the future.
