I first tried installing this with the back end of a spatula and broke that immediately. Then I sat it next to a space heater for a few days and that also did nothing, but then we miraculously had a series of days where it was 70+, meaning it could get to 104+ in my black interior. I had to leave it on the dash for 3 days, but it did eventually become pliable enough to wrap all the way around the wheel, and has stayed firmly in place since I got it on. I could have done a better job centering it but oh well lmao. Doesn't make the wheel much thicker but it is a lot softer. It's still easy to grab the thumb indents at 10 and 2. Not sure if it will get too hot to hold in the summer. It is perforated, but I'll update if it becomes uncomfortable in hotter weather. Your install will probably go easier if you have central heat, or maybe just don't install it in the winter lmao. Can't complain for 20 bucks, they're a pain to install no matter what you spend, this one is comfortable to hold and seems pretty durable. I'll update if it rips, but I have no plans to take it off any time soon. ... show more
