I'm using to block the underside of my deck keeping critters from hanging out under there. It's very durable and rigid but easy to cut and work with compared to chicken wire. I used construction staples to secure it to the wood, and artificial turf staples to secure it to the ground. I ended up ordering more, but really needed this to be sold in 3' widths. Instead of having to stitch together pieces with zip ties , but it works for now. It's a nice durable product, but your limited due to it's size. 15.7" by 9.5' doesn't cover much unless you're building a smaller project. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you! ... show more

This plastic netting is useful in the garden to hold back rambunctious plants like lemongrass without damaging the leaves. The rounded holes are small and smooth, and the plants can’t easily grow through them, so they will keep things contained. The edges of the roll are sharp, so be careful when unspooling it! It bends well enough around corners and curves, and it straightened out readily because we anchored it to posts with the included - very tiny – zip ties. This doesn’t seem heavy enough to keep animals in or out of anything, but it works really well for garden purposes and containing plants to their areas. Measure your area carefully and compare the size you need to this role, because it seemed more narrow and short to me than the standard chicken wire size. ... show more

There's a lot to like about this chicken wire. 1) Very rigid, and seems durable. More rigid than regular chicken wire mesh. 2) Easy to cut with scissors. This is much easier than having to snip each additional wire like you do with regular wire mesh. 3) Black color is nice. Doesn't show up if you put it over a vent or at the bottom of a building. Again, much more aesthetically pleasing than regular wire mesh. 4) Small size means you can unroll it along a narrow area to use without having to cut. Here's what I would change: 1) No options for bigger size. I would use a lot more of this if it came in bigger size rolls, and in longer rolls. 2) Price is somewhat high for the amount of material you get. I wouldn't be able to afford to do any medium or large projects with this material, which is a shame. Overall however, a good 4 stars! 4) ... show more

I like to keep this around to make repairs to my chicken coop. It is easy to cut and patch in without getting cut like you might with the metal wire stuff. This is not a very big roll and is kind of pricey for the amount that you get, but it’s nice to have a smaller roll for repairs.

We have deer in the area where we live. LOTS of deer. These creatures have the mistaken idea that all my flowers and vegetables are for their consumption. I've tried all kinds of deterrents ranging from hanging bars of soap to tucking human hair around my plants to hanging old CD's from branches or stakes. However clever these methods seems, nothing keeps my plants safe as well as fencing does, and I'm very pleased with this brand of plastic chicken wire. First of all, it doesn't scrape and scratch my arms like the old wire fencing did. Secondly, this plastic fence won't rust like metal does. Also, it's easy to cut to length with my garden scissors. The ease of attaching it using the included zip ties makes this an all around very dependable gardening staple for me. It's easy to use, easy to take down at the end of the season, and will roll up nicely for storage. With care, I expect this fencing to last for years to come. Do pay attention to the height- it's just under 16" wide (or tall, depending how you're using it) so you might have to get creative if you need more height. If I need it to be twice as tall for protecting, for example, my sunflowers, I either attach two pieces together using the zip ties or "sew" two pieces together using jute or twine. Two pieces together give almost 32" tall and this works for most of my garden. I'm very happy with it and consider it a 5 star product. ... show more

    • Protects small pets on high decks and patios
I got this to protect my toy poodle who almost committed suicide from our deck. It came with those pinch type ties to secure it, but I opted to use a staple gun instead to attach it to the wood posts of the deck behind the bench where my poodle likes to relax. This works perfectly to protect him, still allow air to flow through and allow us both to be able to see who/what is passing below. It’s made of heavy-duty plastic which is even better because then I don’t have to worry about it rusting or the edges cutting anyone. I’m sure this will work for chickens but it’s definitely a lifesaver for poodles under 5lbs who like to relax on high decks and porches. ... show more
