The plasti dip holds good and it was priced right where I wanted it. It also makes my car look ten times better. But I don't know if it was me or it was maybe just the plastidip but the color isn't as dark as I thought.

Pretty easy to use. Just go slow and small strokes at a time so it doesn't run. First time using it so I made a few mistakes but nothing major. Only concern I had was reinstalling lug nuts kind of tore the finish and might lead to more peeling but time will tell. Car is Tesla Model 3

Put an instant more aggressive look to my 17' focus st and a grin on my face. So when I started out I used a power washer to clean off all of the dirt and worked ok, but left bubbles in the plasti dip afterwards. So then I grabbed some rim cleaner and sprayed that stuff on and it came out perfect the second time. I recommend strongly to do one rim at a time and actually take the wheel off your car to do this for the best results. If I had done all of them at the same time I wouldn't have found a good fix to the bubbling. Great product and would definitely recommend for people who want to keep stock rims but turn em black, or don't have to money for new black rims. ... show more

What more can I say for 50 bucks the stuff is absolutely amazing it'll make your wheels pop out! Preparation is key, take your time, do your taping and masking off, set up everything properly and the rest of the process will fall into place!!

I’m female and this is an easy process, timely, but you want to make sure you tape off your tire and I stuffed plastic bags to protect the brakes and used index cards around the rim. The finished project looks awesome. Half a Saturday, saved me $600.

Use the black dip to paint my wheels and chrome on the car. Very easy to use and overspray peels right off. I’d recommend the following for first timers: -warm the cans in warm/hot water before spraying. Warm paint sprays better -a clip on spray nozzle helps a lot -light tack coat first -20 mins drying time between coats -minimum 5 coats (in my view) -ideal outdoor temp 55-70f - keep the can upright when spraying Overall very easy to use, and if you mess up just peel it off ... show more

I'm loving the results. It's very easy to apply and pretty foolproof as long as you do your research and prep your wheels well beforehand. I did 6 coats which only used 3 cans, so I used the leftover to black out the emblems on my car. I only did 2 coats of the glossifier and am happy with the slight shine. The spray trigger is a bit flimsy and cheap, but definitely helps avoid hand strain when you're applying so many layers. Definitely worth a shot for a cheap visual enhancement, and fairly easy to remove if you screw up or change your mind later ... show more

Simply amazing stuff. Cleaned with alcohol...soak cans in warm water...mask off...spray 3 or 4 even coats and peel off. Watch some how to videos...CLEAN AREA FIRST AND MAKE SURE ITS DRY. I used toothbrush and rubbing alcohol.
