I have spent thousands on dental device from the professional dentists trying to find something that stops me from clenching. They were all the thing that works 90 % of the time. So I shelled out the money. Only to have expensive devices I bit into and was damaging other teeth. While these plackers do not stop me from clenching they are not hard and not damaging my teeth. I wear right through even the strongest hard plastic pro models within a year that were suppose to be the answer and solve the problem. I had a full mouth piece that went around all my top teeth but it hurt all my bottom teeth and started causing nerve pain. The second was a front tooth glide type that your bottom teeth are supposed to slid off ( mine just dug a groove into it thus making it useless.) So was afraid that I would bite through this placker and choke. However, I wear it on my bottom teeth (it does sometimes feel uncomfortable between my teeth and the bottom lip and gum if it slides down.) and I also have learned to do face massage and moving my jaw to loosen it up before bed a few times a week and have had great success with this product. I am also managing chronic pain better. I get about a week or two use by rinsing every morning ( depending upon how much I clench) I dodent the teeth guards but have not punctured or bit through one yet. They have never came out of my mouth at night nor have they choked me either! They stay where I place them ( i do have a small mouth). My teeth are definitely less sore than when I dont use anything or with one of the professional guards. I have been using these plackers a couple months now. I will purchase again. I purchased some other devices but so far since this has been working I havent even bothered to try the others. ( it is so nice to find something that is helping for now) My doctors advice if you clench you cant rely just on the device to solve the problem, utilize massage stretching to reduce clenching PT or youtube videos may help. Stress can play a part in clenching and too many doctors focus on this aspect only, when it can also be caused by chronic pain anywhere in the body ( causing physical stress), joint dysfunction of the jaw, teeth alignment and connective tissue disorders, as well as some neck and muscle issues. So getting to the bottom of your clenching is important especially if you do not feel stress is the only reason. Also Chronic pain anywhere in the body can cause fight or flight body response and clenching is one aspect of that response, so finding ways to help your body not feel in danger/pain can have great impact on your clenching. Great product - very simple design and is comfortable once it "molds" properly to mouth/teeth. A bit small for my jaws when you first open one, but after a night or so of having it in my mouth it stretched out fine. Easy to breathe with too.

I have been using these for over a year now and they work well for me. I had an expensive bite guard at one point but due to dental work it no longer fit and insurance would not cover another one. I find these easy to use and relatively comfortable. I’ve been told I have a small mouth, so maybe the fit would be different for someone with a larger mouth. I like that these do not need to be shaped or heated, and I’m able to wear it on the top or bottom of my mouth. I have never used a night mouth guard before so the first time I used it, it felt foreign and lowkey awkward. I think it’s bc you would expect the ends of it to reach the very back of your teeth but it doesn’t. However, the second time I wore it going to sleep, it didn’t feel awkward anymore and I got used to it. Ik some people’s concern was the size and it being a choking hazard. The size is small I guess but it still stops you from grinding your teeth regardless and it doesn’t hurt your gums or anything (if it does, definitely don’t use it lol). In terms of the hazard, I was also afraid of that because I always sleep talk but the mouth guard doesn’t move unless you put actual effort into moving it (I’ve just been putting the guard on my bottom teeth). It may seem loose at first but sleep with at least twice and the guard will adapt to your teeth. Also, I only use one guard (either the bottom or top) just because it was awkward to use both the bottom and top but even if you wear only one, it will still stop the teeth grinding. ... show more

I’m so happy to have found a night guard that’s comfortable. It fits just right and it doesn’t create a lot of saliva like my custom made one. I unknowingly grind at night especially when I’m stressed or anxious. The one my doctor had made was very uncomfortable and over the years have gotten tighter. I have so much saliva I can’t sleep in it because my fear of choking. But these are really good and affordable I would recommend ... show more
