Viscose is actually my favorite shirt material for the climate I live in. Which consists of like, 9 months of summer every year. With about 4 of those months being REALLY hot. And I'm not talking about 110℉ or so with little to no humidity. That's still pretty hot, but it's nothing like the same temperature with the humidity being over 95% all of the time. You see, when it's that hot and the humidity is low, it's possible to get at least a little relief in the shade. But when it's that hot and the humidity is really high, there's virtually no escape because as people sweat it doesn't evaporate from their skin. Or something like that. So the low weight and airiness of viscose shirts are more comfortable than most other types of shirts in such a hot climate. At least, they are in my opinion. This particular shirt though, I would say is more cotton-like and a little heavier than other viscose shirts that I've worn in the past. It's still pretty comfortable in a hot climate. I just wouldn't wear it while doing a lot of outdoor hard labor. Anyway, I'm not saying that shirts like this are only good in hot climates with high humidity. Like I had said, when it's over a hundred degrees and the humidity is low, it's still pretty freaking hot! Lol, and so this shirt should be comfortable to wear in ANY type of hot climate. Mainly because there's little holes all throughout the shirt that provide a good deal of air circulation, reducing how fast some areas of the skin will produce sweat. Maybe it's not enough to be noticeable for some people, but from my experience with wearing a shirt like this I've found really hot days to be at least a little more bearable. For being inside of a place that's room temperature though (about 73℉ or so), a shirt like this might be a little chilly. But that doesn't mean that it can't be worn in such a case. Because that problem can be easily solved by just wearing a t-shirt underneath this shirt. Let's see... Other than that? I generally wear medium sized shirts, but Amazon suggested that I get the small size of this shirt. And so I did, and it's not a problem. The shirt fits just fine. And so, to anyone who is considering getting a shirt like this, I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

I have a sweater from this brand that I really like and that fits me well so I thought I would try this short sleeved knit-style shirt. I got the black. First, let me say the shirt is nice quality overall. It is pretty heavy, the knit and design are nice and the buttons are good too—they are not those cheap white buttons that seem to crop up on so many clothes. It also comes with an additional button. The fit is slim, and it hangs well on me; the arms and waist fit close, with more stretch available but no looseness or gapping. On my opinion, this can be worn alone, without a tee under it. I was initially concerned it would be wildly see through but it wasn’t. I took a medium and am 6’ and 150 lbs. One note: I am not 100% convinced that the button holes will be sturdy over time, and as you can see from the photos, they are less finished looking than the other parts of the shirt. That said, you can not see this when the buttons are closed so aside from the top button (if you leave it open) it will look fine. This shirt is not the softest but in my experience that is typical when you have this kind of blend (95% viscose and 5% polyamide). Care instructions are to wash it in the washer—I will use a cold, gentle cycle—but don’t put it in the dryer. ... show more

    • It’s kinda of sheer and a little weird

It fits correctly however just not used to a style like this. It’s knitted material so it’s kind of see through. It’s not majorly sheer but enough to notice if you’re close up. I’m not a fan of it. The buttons are also a little loose and because of the knit material, not sure how long they will last for both the button and the opening for the button on the opposite side. I got this for my son and we are both beyond impressed!! He’s 27 and wasn’t sure when I showed him until he tried it on. The pictures and description by the seller are spot on. Measurements are true to size. The fabric is buttery soft and comfortable, while still giving a very stylish and timeless look. The color is very rich and quality of stitching is above board. I was a little weary about ordering this, but this was a pleasant surprise. The fabric is soft and has a little stretch to it so when I move around, it's still comfortable and non-restricting. The pattern gave my outfit some much needed added texture. It helped me stand out from the crown with the usual cotton smooth shirt. Will be wearing it again on a night out! ... show more
