Description

If you've ever dreamed of transforming your kitchen into a pizzeria, the Pizzeria Pronto Stovetop Pizza Oven can help you get the hot, fresh pizza you love. Most conventional ovens can only achieve temperatures of 500 F and require up to an hour to reach those heats. The Stovetop Pizza Oven can heat up to 600 F in about 15 minutes, allowing you to cook your pizza in as little as 6 minutes. The Stovetop Pizza Oven uses one of your stovetop's gas burners to reach cooking temperature. Simply place the oven on top of your burner and turn it on.The oven's heat-efficient design traps and reflects heat to create the optimal pizza-cooking environment. Dual cordierite baking stones absorb the direct heat from the flame and redistribute it evenly, eliminating hot spots. The stones are separated by a layer of air to diffuse heat, and the bottom stone has a cutout for improved airflow. The built-in thermometer lets you know when it's time to cook, and the moisture vent in the top prevents your pizza from becoming soggy. With the Pizzeria Pronto Stovetop Pizza Oven, you can get pizzeria-perfect pizza in your own home.HOW TO USE: Assemble your oven as instructed in the manual (about 15 minutes). Place the oven on top of your gas stovetop burner, making sure the opening on the bottom of the oven (which exposes the bottom cordierite stone) is centered above the burner. Turn your burner to high and allow to preheat for 15 minutes with the door shut. Remove the door and place your pizza on the stone using a pizza peel. Replace the door and allow to cook for about 3 minutes. Remove the door and use your peel to extract the pizza and then rotate it 180, then replace the oven and shut the door. Allow to cook another 3 minutes and remove.PLEASE NOTE: Your stove top needs to have gas burners. The Stovetop Pizza Oven will not work with an electric range. Recommended for 9500-15000 BTU NG or LPG Indoor gas range burners. Can be used on burners with lower BTU, but preheat time may be longer.PLEASE NOTE: The Stovetop Pizza Oven will reach 600F during cooking. Please keep this in mind when determining whether the Stovetop Pizza Oven is compatible with your stove top. The Stovetop Pizza Oven should fit directly over one of your burners without covering or coming too close to materials that could be damaged by high heat such as plastic knobs or counter tops made of heat-sensitive materials. Built-in ranges featuring knobs on top of the range directly next to burners are not compatible with the Stovetop Pizza Oven. We do not recommend purchasing the Stovetop Pizza Oven if your range has dial knobs near your burners or if your range is directly next to a countertop that can not withstand some heat. PLEASE NOTE: Many types of peels will work with the Stovetop Oven. However, we strongly recommend Pizzacraft PC0231 Aluminum Folding Pizza Peel (pictured above, sold separately) designed specifically to work with the Stovetop Oven. This peel will make it easier to transfer pies in and out of your oven.CAUTION: Oven will become very hot. Use heat safe gloves when handling. Do not leave unattended. Allow to cool before cleaning and storing.100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. Pizzacraft is here to help if you have any questions or concerns.

  • Love this pizza oven
Bought this 6 months ago. Haven’t ordered a take out pizza since. You must must take care of it. But a good wire brush to clean it. But it makes great pizza. Get super hot so be careful. Get a small pizza peel. Corn meal to help slide it. Most grocery stores sell premade pizza dough for a few dollars. For the cost , you can’t beat it. Cooks a great pizza in a few minutes ... show more

  • 600 degress in 12 minutes. Excellent Results, Superb Value
When this thing is on sale at Amazon the price is downright silly. For less than the price of a Pizza Steel and not much more than a pizza stone you get a whole pizza oven that includes a pizza stone. If you have a gas stove, read no further and buy this. Some comment that is is unforgiving. Go Try an Ooni if you want to know unforgiving. On an Ooni is you don't keep the wood pellets flowing at the right pace or properly manage your chimmney your pizza will taste like soot. Yes you have to watch your pizza and like just about every pizza oven you need to turn the pizza once during the cook but unless you are comparing this to a toaster oven, this is easier to use than most alternatives. If you cook at high temperature your margin of error in terms of time is smaller. The rules of physics apply to this oven and every other oven. THis oven is well put together, smartly engineered, not overly bulky, gives you very good pizza and unlike making pizza in an oven does not require 30 minutes of prehearing to get the stone hot. This would 4 star product if it was priced at full retail of $180.00 at current prices its a five star value. Bravo PiazzaCraft and Amazon. ... show more

  • Had So Much Potential…
I wanted to like this product. I was so excited for its arrival and bought a pizza peel to go with it. After following the prep and cooking instruction i managed to burn the pizzas in the center whilst leaving them Raw on the edge, I thought this was an error on my part but turns out it’s a design flaw i tried a number of times and the result was both sides of the stone being left with heavy burn residue and the bottom stone meant for taking the heat being cracked sadly missed my return window for the item but it’s a shame as I had family anticipating successful usage of this item as well. What a shame this item could’ve been a real game changer. ... show more

  • Great product makes great pizza (okay I made great pizza ...
Great product makes great pizza (okay I made great pizza the oven only bakes it.) The high temp it reaches and stones make a crispy pizza crust. I have first tried reheating pizza from our favorite pizza place and it was great like it just came out of his oven. We then bought store crust and my kids made their own pizza. The only thing I dislike is the stone sticks and when cheese gets on it burns and can't get it off. It gets very hot so watch what is next to it. The heat browned the silicone mats that go between counter and stove on mine. I was ordered never to use the end burners with this again. ... show more

  • Design flaw and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM PIZZACRAFT's SO-CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
4 stars for the product and 0 star for their customer service resulting in 3 stars. The good: With my Bluestar professional stove and 23K btu front burners, I was able to get to 600+ degrees in 10 minutes and topped out at 650 degrees 5 minutes later. On frozen raw DiGiorno pizza, the pizza cooked in ~ 6 minutes for each side and it came out bubbling. Be careful, not to overcook as I turned off the burner to let the pizza sit for a couple of minutes and the underside crust overcooked and was a bit too hard. As comparison, it takes ~ 25-30 minutes for my range's oven to achieve 500 degrees and ~ 15-18 minutes to cook the same raw frozen pizza. Since my stove produces so many btu's I have to be careful not to burn certain frozen pizzas. I've learned that there are pizza flours that are meant for 500 degree ovens and those that reach much higher. As a result, DiGiorno frozen pizzas's crust can get burnt while the middle is still uncooked so I have to lower the flame so there's a balance. Also, stones get charred over time (washing doesn't help) and have set off my smoke detector. So, the stovetop pizza oven is good but overpriced (I paid $150 delivered) for what one is getting. It's a few pieces of enameled metal and 2 thin 1/2" pizza stones. The pizza stone I have from Williams-Sonoma feels more substantial at 5/8" thick. If you can find it at $100 delivered it'll be a very good buy. The bad: Here's where Pizzacraft really falls short; their Customer Service Manager, Tanya Mitchell who answers all the email inquires for "info@pizzacraft.com." She picks and chooses emails which to respond, provided misinformation and was obnoxious. 1) Before ordering, I emailed info@pizzacraft.com asking if there a bigger pizza oven version with bigger stones coming out and I received a reply from Tanya Mitchell stating that they had different sized stones available on their website - not what I asked but I then emailed back asking the difference between the 2 outdoor Pizzacraft ovens. I did not hear back so called, she answered the phone and explained the differences and told me the stovetop version had a 15" pizza stone not 12" as I had thought. That turned out to be wrong when I received the stovetop pizza oven a few days later. And, during that phone conversation, I repeated that the stone was 15" not 12" a couple of times. 2) After ordering the stovetop oven, I emailed Tanya asking the proper size peel for the oven. No response so the next day, I forwarded my email to "info@pizzacraft.com" and she responds, "I already answered this question for you yesterday when you called." 3) When I received the Pizzacraft stove oven, I measured the stones and they were 12" NOT 15" and emailed Tanya this fact with no immediate response so I called Pizzacraft hoping to talk with someone else but she answered the phone so I hung up. Low and behold, not surprising with called id, I get an email response offering a refund. This is the very reason I emailed Tanya to confirm the proper size peel and instead of getting service, I get ignored and then received a snide response. Is that considered service? Picking and choosing which customer emails to answer and to receive a snarky answer is plain rude so I hope CEO/Founder, Chuck Adams or upper management sees my review but one can't change another's character or attitude so Tanya will always be who she is. Any mea culpa from her would be considered insincere. You've been forewarned.... Update: 11/8/16 Notice the response from PizzaCraft Customer Service aka Tanya Mitchell. No where does she address her initial response, "I already answered your question over the phone." Also, It was only AFTER I stated that I was going to write about about the terrible customer service in my Amazon review did she apologize and provide the answer. Instead of being a smart ass and replying with a snide answer, the same effort should have been to provide the answer to my question right away. Also, they expect me to pay for return shipping on their error - telling me the stones were 15". Update: 8/12/17 After using this weekly for under a year, there are some design flaws. The pieces do NOT stay together securely and if they fall out of place when in use, it's really hot and awkward to put back together when using oven mitts! The half circle metal ring that the upper pizza stone rests on is NOT SECURE so be careful when moving pizza around. I've had the stone fall out of place because the metal came undone! ... show more

  • Best crust I've ever made!
I've been experimenting A LOT with anything Pizza related: different dough recipes ( Bread Flour vs Caputo 00, warm vs cold ferment, Stand Mixer vs Food Processor,...) , different cooking methods ( Top Rack Broil, 2 stones, Stone over Steel, BBQ with 2 stones, etc...) . I can say honestly that other than Par Baking the crust ( which has it's own set of challenges ) nothing has given me such great and consistent cooking results as the Pizzeria Pronto! The quick warm up time makes it even better, but I'd have gladly waited longer for it to heat if needed. The only thing I've noticed, I seem to be getting slightly un-even cooking on 1 side, which i think as more to do with the burner on my stove than the device. I bought this Thermometer for $13 during a deal https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DMI632G/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I can definitely see that it's hotter on the 1 side. I'm experimenting rotating the top stone ( which I'm sure is against the manufacturers recommendations for legal reasons alone ) to see if that'll help. I also tried 2 rotations of the pizza during cooking, but that seemed to let out a little too much heat ... show more
