Perfect cord size well-built and works as advertised although the mic itself seems a little large and not very discreet. Plugs right in to your lightning port on your iPhone. The overall sound is good but a bit muffled. Great mic and it gets the job done!

This mike works well as a lapel/lavalier mike, but my opinion the sound quality is not better than the iPhone 11 builtin mike. The sound quality is very good, mind you, but not an improvement. I wanted this for live music (piano) recording and side by side tests were the same in sound quality. So....if you want a decent mike on a wire, at a good price, buy this. If you want improvement on the iPhone mike sound quality and don't need the wire, nah, save your money. BTW, this worked fine with my Otterbox Defender case. No problems with the plug. ... show more

I also did a iPhone vocal recording to check sound quality (good) and piano and vocals (good). this thing works! sounds way better than built in mic, great for doing run and gun videos with an iphone. most importantly, there are no adapters needed—just plug it in and you’re ready to go. also, always remember to unplug it before you play back video or else you won’t be able to hear anything.

The media could not be loaded. The microphone cones with a clip on which makes it super convenient when you are making video.
