I used this for fall ball and spring season for both practice and games and it held up really well. One of the rubber feet came off but can be replaced with some wood glue. Used it with U8 players but I think it will work well with U10 and drills with U12.

Nice quality, decently portable, good not great pitching support: This product is made with decently sturdy wood and is very well manufactured/pieced together. The wood is heavy enough to serve as a strong base for young pitchers and the slanted, downhill design gives a more realistic sense of what it's like pitching from a real mound, making it ideal for at home practice or indoor practice during the winters. The product, while heavy, is pretty slim and can still be picked up and carried around via its attached handle, so you can fit it in a car and move it around pretty easily. The rubber on the top of the unit is definitely more realistic than having nothing at all, but only gives about an inch of push-off space, which is different from real mounts that can be dug in a few more inches and give better support/power when throwing. This is a great mound for practice. My 10-year-old brother spends a lot of time at various baseball training facilities. This is much smaller than a commercial-style training mound, but it is a great alternative to have at home. The smaller size makes it possible to pack it in your trunk and take it to the park. This has been the best. My boys love baseball, but being able to practice in the backyard has been tough until this. All 3 of my boys pitch, and they all approve of this mound. We have been moving it in out of the weather after use. It was easy to assemble and start using. We had been contemplating building one, but I’m so glad we went with this.     • Extremely Well built Pitching Mound
This mound is a great addition to our pitching room and is light enough that it can be moved by one person but heavy enough that it doesn't move when the pitcher pushes off the mound. Please note we use this for 8 to 12 year olds and all are getting great use out of this.

This is a nice pitching mound. I would recommend it for a younger child. My 15 year old though he did not have enough room for a full stride. Easy to transport with a handle.
