I was surprised at a time when quality products cost a ton more, this didn’t. I change my fishing line often. I put this purchase off forever not seeing the value. Well I was wrong. This helped in eliminating line twist and especially, becoming the 3rd hand. The product is of high quality with multiple ways to set up how to place the reel of string. I liked it very well for baitcasters but the spinning reel aspect not so much. To get it to roll to prevent line twist takes a learning curve. But yes, overall it does the trick. 👍

If you are just not in the mood to take the reel off and place one the spooler like me then this is for you. Love this thing and a time saver. Place the spooler on your rod,choose the lock for small,medium or large and screw down in place and go for it. Old and lazy like should love it.
