  • I Highly recommend this tire!
There is a Pirelli Angel gt and a gt 2, I went out of my way to get just the regular Angel gt! It's got AMAZING reviews and couldn't be happier with this tire!

  • Replaced Michelin PR3s and these tires feel like they are glued to the road
Bought the Pirellis for my BMW R1200rt only have a few hundred miles on them so far. But so far I'm impressed. Replaced Michelin PR3s and these tires feel like they are glued to the road. Been driving twisties in San Diego mountains, really live these tires. Highly recommend. Counting on them lasting longer than the Michelin product. ... show more

  • Smooth ride, crisp handling, great traction! ***Read Update Below!***
Smooth as silk, sticks like glue. Transitions well, very predictable. Seems to be wearing well. Very pleased. **Update 8/17/20** Well, after about 5000+ miles, there's plenty of tread on the tire, but it's cupping badly enough to where I get a low-speed wobble (30-50 mph) if I'm not going perfectly straight. I ride the twisties here in the Carolinas pretty hard and there are virtually no "chicken strips" along the edges (I'm leaning pretty hard and steadily rolling on coming out of the turns) but there is also some long distance interstate in the mix (1500 miles to Canada and back, etc...). Seems the sides are worn more than the center, which I'd be fine with, but it looks like I'm going to have to replace the tire with a lot of tread left on it due to the cupping. As I mentioned above, grip is/was outstanding, transitions were silky smooth, and the back tire has been phenomenal. But I'm disappointed with the cupping in the front. I've tightened up my suspension a bit to see if this improves, but I haven't changed it much. As a final note, I ride a 2016 Kawasaki Concours - it's 685 lbs without gear (or me) and the engine (thanks to some great tuning) produces over 165 HP. That combination puts a lot of stress on the tires. I think some tweaking of the tread compound may fix this, but until that happens I'm going to have to try a competitors solution. ... show more
