This Pioneer Camp Jacket is exactly as described and has the fit and features I have been looking for. I had been searching over a year for a quality fleece jacket to replace my favorite 20 year old REI one. I can’t count the number of fleece jackets I tried on in local stores and ordered online then returned. What do I like about it? The material is thick dual-density fleece comfortable from the moment I put it on. It keeps me warm on a cold breezy day and elastic cuffs and waistband keep the wind out without being too tight. The two large inside pockets is a must for me! Access to the two outside zippered pockets are in the correct place - not moved back to side-seams that make it difficult to get your hands in and out of. The main zipper is smooth and correctly sized teeth should stand the test of time. Colors are nice and very close to the photos. What I would change about this jacket? Not much. At most maybe add 1/2” to the sleeve length for my perfect fit with arms extended, but I am happy with the fit. It’s nice to finally have a product to rate so highly! It's so warm and well made. My husband is 6'3 and 195 lbs. I got him the XL. Fits great but because of his height, it could be a few inches longer. But still looks great on him.

I suprised at how well this jacket fits. I am tall, have long arms and an athletic build so larges are usually too short in the torso and sleeves while XL fits like a skirt. I was looking for something to wear as a baselayer rather than layering under it. Like other reviewers have said it has a more slender fit than regular jackets. So I was very happy to find that XL fits me like a large tall size. And it still isn't European tight. I can still get a sweatshirt under it. Which isn't happening because this thing is as warm as a light to medium coat. I got it because my job requires me to constantly move in and out of warm buildings into the 30 degree outside. When inside I have to unzip it or just take it off. Outside and underneath my work coat it better be cold out. I love this thing. Awesome color, great fit, good zipper and pockets. Even though it has a mock turtle neck style collar that doesn't bother me at all. It's rare that I am this impressed with something at this price point. ... show more

This is a quality jacket with soft fleece! This is NOT one of those cheap Chinese prints on polyester that are being sold on this Amazon platform. This jacket is not a thin fleece, and is nice and warm. I think it's a very good value for the money. It's good for 50-60 degree farenheit weather, and can be used with layers for colder temperature. Believe the reviews My husband is a medium so I sized up to a large but it was still to small through the bodice. The arm length is perfect but there was no wiggle room with a shirts. So I will return for XL and I hope that fits as it’s a really nice fleece. My husband is 80 and always cold so this will be great to keep him warm. My son lives in Florida and they were having a cold snap of weather. I bought this for him and it was quickly delivered and it fits true to size and was extremely warm. He has washed it a few times and the durability is great, the black matches with everything, And he finds it to keep him very warm. I would highly recommend this!
