    • Keeps my 16 month old entertained for a long time
My daughter's attention span is super short. She will play with this music book for 10-15 minutes, which is a long time! Then play with another toy, then back to the book again, all day long. Sometimes it's like her own personal radio playing music in the background while she is playing with something else. I work from home and I love toys that help my daughter entertain herself. The songs are long, not short sound bits like other sound books we have. And they modified familiar songs, which makes my daughter happy because she recognizes the tune even though the words are different. She lit up when she heard the shark ABCs, haha! I have yet to see the longevity of this book. I'll update my review if we ever have a problem. In the couple of weeks that we've used it, it seems well made, the illustrations are colorful, and the sound is good quality. My daughter and I are both very happy. Totally recommend! ... show more

    • Perfect for the Baby Shark fan
We had no choice but to jump on the Baby Shark train- for reasons I can’t explain this is the one song that would calm our infant down immediately. His first birthday just passed and we bought him this book for that occasion. As annoying as the song has become due to the repetiveness of it in our house, this book is a slight breath of fresh air since, along with the original song, it has variations of the original song as well as some new shark songs. Each song has a section dedicated to it in the book and has the lyrics of each song printed out. Our one year old has no issue pushing the buttons to make the songs play. It is a board book but they are thin board pages and are prone to bending; our front cover page no longer lays flat. I recommend it for any baby shark fan and it makes a great gift. ... show more

    • Plays full version of each song, my 3yo loves it!
I hate this book...but my Daughter Loves it🙃. It doesn't play a short clip but full songs. Each song is altered to the shark theme (e.g. Twinkle Twinkle Little shark). Of course there is a full version of Baby Shark. Pros (or maybe cons to some):. Plays full songs in very clear voices, Has an off switch (biggest pro to me), easy to push the buttons, kids just love this book! Cons: The book is small, the words are just the song lyrics (No story), the volume is loud (this is probably a pro for your kids but for me a con), price If you want a book your kids will love, buy this. Yes it's pricey for it's size but honestly my daughter can play with it for a long time, it's not one of those toys that sits in the corner never getting used. I would buy it again even though I keep singing Doo Doo Doo because it's all I hear. ... show more

    • My boy loves it!
I was looking for something that my 15-month-old could enjoy while I need to do something without being interrupted, like cooking or an urgent work task. He loves Baby Shark, but I also didn't want him to have too much screen time. This book was a great solution! My son loves pushing the buttons and having it play his favorite songs. It is now one of his favorite toys. The volume is a good level, and the sound is nice and clear. I love that it has a variety of songs. The board book itself is sturdier than I was expecting, and the illustrations are great. It's good that it has an on and off switch. It would have been nice to have a volume controller, but it's not a big deal. It's a great buy, and makes my son happy :) ... show more

    • Earworms your kid will love
Even clicking this review immediately put Baby Shark songs in my head. I should be angry and hate this product for that but how can I when my toddler loves it so much. He was already fond of the original song (included in the book, of course) and the other songs amused him as well. We gave this to him during the latter half of a long road trip and it was definite entertainment for a solid hour or more. The songs WILL get stuck in your head. It's all songs...the book is just the lyrics. There are Baby Shark takes on classics like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "This Little Piggy," "BINGO" and more, with a random Christmas themed tune shoehorned in, but they are fun, the sound is good, and the book has held up for about a month through travel and plenty of wear and tear. ... show more

    • Great concept, but confusing
This Baby Shark sing-a-long book works well and keeps my grandson interested, but the lyrics are different from the lyrics in the original songs. This makes it confusing when singing along. Other than that, it seems well made and sturdy. In my opinion, if they were going to have "baby shark themed" songs, they should not have used tried and true children's songs. ... show more

    • What else would a BOMB Grandpa get for his grandson??
We bought this for our daughter's baby shower because frankly I wanted to be a grandpa with a theme. Since early pregnancy, I've played the Baby Shark song soooo many times everyone is sick of it. NOTE: My wife and I raised 5 kids so we kinda know something about baby stuff and raising babies(mostly my wife - I needed an owner's manual). My daughter and her family moved in during the coronavirus pandemic and during this social distancing time- we are all living together. It is a staple in our home. Baby is now three months old and figuring out life. It entertains him and us! I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV. The constant theme song is engrained in Baby's mind so he responds to it because it is comforting. We've raised enough children to know that putting restless baby down to sleep or he's in his carseat and won't stop crying - you need a distraction! This is it! It soothes him, reminds him that he has a BOMB GRANDPA and keeps everyone sane! We love it. Would buy again! ... show more
