My daughter's attention span is super short. She will play with this music book for 10-15 minutes, which is a long time! Then play with another toy, then back to the book again, all day long. Sometimes it's like her own personal radio playing music in the background while she is playing with something else. I work from home and I love toys that help my daughter entertain herself. The songs are long, not short sound bits like other sound books we have. And they modified familiar songs, which makes my daughter happy because she recognizes the tune even though the words are different. She lit up when she heard the shark ABCs, haha! I have yet to see the longevity of this book. I'll update my review if we ever have a problem. In the couple of weeks that we've used it, it seems well made, the illustrations are colorful, and the sound is good quality. My daughter and I are both very happy. Totally recommend! ... show more

I was looking for something that my 15-month-old could enjoy while I need to do something without being interrupted, like cooking or an urgent work task. He loves Baby Shark, but I also didn't want him to have too much screen time. This book was a great solution! My son loves pushing the buttons and having it play his favorite songs. It is now one of his favorite toys. The volume is a good level, and the sound is nice and clear. I love that it has a variety of songs. The board book itself is sturdier than I was expecting, and the illustrations are great. It's good that it has an on and off switch. It would have been nice to have a volume controller, but it's not a big deal. It's a great buy, and makes my son happy :) ... show more

    • Perfect for Baby Shark Lovers and Limiting Screen Time
Really hesitant because of the price but my daughter is obsessed with the pink fong music videos and I really want to limit screen time so I got her this for her birthday and oh my was it so worth it! She wouldn't put it down for weeks! It's so amazing how one button sings whole songs (while the plush from pink tong only sings parts of it which really angers her). Totally worth the price and is a great gift for a toddler! It's been 6 weeks and shes still not bored with it and it's super durable board book pages! Still looks amazing! ... show more

Even clicking this review immediately put Baby Shark songs in my head. I should be angry and hate this product for that but how can I when my toddler loves it so much. He was already fond of the original song (included in the book, of course) and the other songs amused him as well. We gave this to him during the latter half of a long road trip and it was definite entertainment for a solid hour or more. The songs WILL get stuck in your head. It's all songs...the book is just the lyrics. There are Baby Shark takes on classics like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "This Little Piggy," "BINGO" and more, with a random Christmas themed tune shoehorned in, but they are fun, the sound is good, and the book has held up for about a month through travel and plenty of wear and tear. ... show more

    • Great book, plays full songs, just really LOUD.
My 17 month old really enjoys this book. It has nice thick pages and the buttons are easy to press. The pages associate the button to push to play the song which she’s too young for but I’m sure will she will get soon enough. It plays the full baby shark song. The others are short songs as well. I took away a star because it is so LOUD. When I sit with her and read it I have to cover the speaker with my hand because it’s too loud for me. I can’t imagine how it is for her little ears. I wish there was a volume button not just an on off. ... show more

2 year old started singing ABCs a few weeks after giving it to her. she loves it and the best part is it uses triple As which is easier to find to replace. as to the volume control on the review, im sure it's fairly loud and will drive anyone insane but it's the right volume (somewhat mid-range to a bit loud) which a kid would like it at (i guess you just learn to tone it out). as to the strudyness i guess it's pretty sturdy, gave it to a 2 year old for a bit over a month and i think it's still in one piece (cardboard page baby book), even if it isn't that durable the sound part could take an additional beating beyond what the pages could and the remains would still be loved by the child. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Would recommend! I bought 2 of these 1 for my 1.5 yr old Daughter and another for a birthday gift. I like that there is a on/off switch on the back of the book as well as a song list. There are 10 shark themed songs including the full baby shark song. It came packaged nicely to keep the book from being damaged during shipment and came really quickly from Amazon prime. I would like if the pages were a bit thicker because they are bendable and my daughter can be rough sometimes but they are thick enough so they can not be ripped which is awesome. I have a daycare and small children of my own so I think books are very important but I also put up all of the books that can be ripped. I would like to have a volume control button too but overall I would recommend this book! Watch my video to see every page and hear some of the songs. ... show more
