I use these for loose powder application and they fit great into the hollow by nose and eye. I am not sure if made to be machine washable but I did and were not damaged at all.

This is the perfect puff to apply loose powder to mattify concealer and foundation. I have a Beauty Blender puff and I like this better and so affordable too. I wish it came with a plastic pouch so I can carry it in my purse and apply compact powder while on the go.
