I am a colored pen FANATIC, and before these babies I had never used a ballpoint pen that I liked. But these were great. They glided smoothly across paper and never bled through. The colors were perfect. Everything about using them was just so enjoyable. However, three days ago, I lost them. And this is what it took to realize how much they mean to me. I have tried taking notes with my Sharpie pens, which used to be my favorite, but it's just not the same. The colors aren't as vibrant, the ink runs out quickly, they aren't as comfortable to hold...I MISS MY G2 PENS!!! I know I probably sound like I'm being paid to endorse this product, and everyone on Amazon is skeptical of extremely positive reviews (including myself), but I am truly writing this out of my own will. Because I realized from being without them over the past few days what a positive difference these pens have made in my life. For one thing, I could never get myself to take notes while reading my textbooks before. It bored me, so I wouldn't do it. However, I enjoyed writing with these pens so much that I would LOOK for excuses to use them, and taking notes was a perfect reason! Needless to say, my grades skyrocketed from the notetaking, and I attribute that directly to these pens. I also found that my Spanish instructor really likes when I do my work in color (as long as the color is dark enough to be readable, which most of the colors in this set are), and he writes notes like "fun to grade!" on my papers. What am I gonna do now that I don't have my pens and I have a Spanish test tomorrow!? MY PROFESSOR WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED! hahaha I joke, but seriously...I actually LIKE taking tests, writing essays, doing homework, etc when I'm using these pens. That has never happened before in my entire life! I am diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, and I won't get into specifics, but I have tried many different prescriptions and cognitive therapies to no avail. It turned out that all I really needed was to start doing work in color and I feel so engaged that I ENJOY doing it! I wish I'd discovered this about myself in high school. It would have spared me a lot of needless frustration... I can't guarantee that all ADDers will experience this phenomenon as I did, but if you are an artistic/creative (but distractible) person like I am, this might just be the answer for you. Alright, well I'm gonna finish up this review now because I need to order another set...I can't stand the separation anxiety any longer! Edit: After using these for almost a year, I stand by my opinion that they are the best pens money can buy! None of the pens have run out of ink after all this time and I use them almost every day! My husband and I have argued (jokingly) for a couple of years whether G2 or InkJoy were better pens. I love the way InkJoys write, and the availability of colors has always drawn me in. That used to be true. I started finding that the InkJoy colors would just stop writing for no reason. Even when there was plenty of ink left. I started resigning myself to boring black. Usually G2's, since they're all my husband has around. I started loving the way G2s write, but was still bummed about the lack of color availability. (Not just for fun either. Writing in different colors helps me study better.) But then I found these! I'm a true believer now. The colors are vibrant, they write so smoothly, and are a wonderful value for all these great brand pens! I'll definitely be ordering refills for them. If they ever run out! I recently used these to write a full 75 page review for my last final, and they're still going strong! Strongly recommend if you like G2s and you want some fun color in your life. ... show more

These pens are awesome! The colors are true to the pen color . I love that the ink flow is consistent and doesn’t skip when being used. The tip is fine enough to do some detail work and sturdy enough to color in lettering.

There are so many reviews I’ve seen of people complaining that the pack didn’t come with twenty: just exchange them it’s not hard. My pack did come with twenty although it kinda seems like they might’ve been used because some of the pens have the little wax balls on the tip and some did not. But I really don’t care they write smoothly, the colors are pretty and I plan to buy more. The metallic colors are smoother than the regular but they are all still smooth and don’t skip. My only worry is they might dry out: I bought a pack about 2 years ago and some of the colors dried out and some didn’t I don’t know why and I find that weird since I have pens dating back 10 years that are still going strong. Also they say refillable but when I try to look for the other colors they don’t seem to have them all I see is black, red, and blue. ... show more

I have been buying this brand for years and they last a long time and come in wonderful colors. The only wish I would have is to get a pack that only has one black and one dark blue and all of the wonderful colors pilot makes. A bigger pack with more colors would be great!

I bought this because I love the Pilot G-2 pens with all my heart. They have smooth writing, a great grip, and pleasant smelling ink. I bought these because the colors made my eyes sparkle. I brought them to work and my co-workers called me a big nerd for buying pens with my own money, but it was worth it because now they have plenty of colors and great pens to use in our SPED class! ... show more
