Originally I had bought Pilot G2 1.0 retractable gel pens but I needed a brown one. I fell in love with the pilot gel pens especially after trying Pen Gear and Ink Joy which are retractable ball point pens, not gel pens. But let's forge ahead... Brown gel pens were not available in 1.0 unless I wanted to buy a box of them when I only needed one 🤔 For a short time, I did consider buying a whole box of them and gift them. Um, no. Sell them on eBay? Nope. Buy their 7.0? Ding! Ding! Ding! Tell her what she won Johnny! It's worth it because this set which comes with maroon which could also be used as a brown. Pilot G-2s have been my preferred pen as a left-handed person for years. They write smoothly and don't splotches up my pinky. I bought a set of colorful ones for note taking. All of the colors look great. Navy and green did have a bit of trouble getting started, but wrote fine after a few scribbles.

A little pricey...but the only pen I will use. Like them so much I buy them myself and take them to work with me as well. You don't have to look very far from where I am and you will find one...desk, backpack, suitcase, kitchen counter...etc., Would recommend.
