I love Pilot G2 gel pens. They write smoothly and with no drag and come in many different colors. I keep a daily journal as well as doing lots of writing by hand at work, so smooth writing is essential to me. I wasn't sure how the pastel inks would work as I've had disappointing scratchy results from other brands. I shouldn't have worried, the ink flow is smooth even with the finer point, and the colors are wonderful. I've even used them for accents in my adult coloring books! Pilot did it again! I use these pens for hand lettering and doodling. The colors are vibrant and there is very little feedback or friction. I do use hp laserjet 32 lb paper, however. It’s premium and smooth so it makes it easier for the pen. These pastel colors are the best!

    • These are not Pilot G2’s
These are definitely not Pilot G2 pens. They are made of cheap plastic. They arrived as single pens (not packaged) and rubber banded together. The thing is… these colors are what I was looking for. I was looking for pastel gel pens for coloring whether or not they’re pilot G2. They work okay, some of them are more vibrant while others are more watery and don’t stand out or blend well, but that’s fine. I didn’t pay a high price or anything and knew they’d most likely be knock offs. I just wish they would sell them as anything except a brand that they’re not.
