The package set includes 7 gel pens for writing on black paper and 1 back gel pen for regular use on white/color paper. I usually prefer micro point pens but the 07 series from Pilot is consistently reliable. The image shows how well the pen writes after writing the word twice (to get the gel flowing ). The white pen does not perform as well as the metallic gel pens on the paper, so you would have to retrace the word to make it more prominent. (Edit: on this paper, the colors are not as prominent and they appear silver with a little bit of color, but on white and colored paper the intended color is prominent. That is why I didn't reduce the stars.) Overall I am very satisfied with the pens, and would purchase again. ... show more

The video and picture don’t do these justice. I really like them. They write very smooth. In the video those were literally the first time I wrote with them but once you write the first time it stays smooth. Again very happy with these. Didn’t do a smear test right away cause I would never do that normally so after like 30-60 seconds I tried and nothing smeared. ... show more

The ink flows smoothly and the colors are perfect. They are 0.7mm so the lines are "thicker" (what I wanted). I bought a cheaper brand for my niece and I could see the difference. These metallic color does not look like it has glitter, while the other does and, you can tell these ones hold a lot more ink. I wish the colors were more vibrant though (a little less pastel-ish) ... show more
