Pillow pet has always been a really high quality company. He's very soft and cute. He even has a little pin on his tail. The texture on the hair isn't too bad as someone with sensory issues but it is not soft like his body. I'm not sure how to describe it. It is different and if you bury your face in it it maybe make you itchy but not from allergies. Just because it's a different texture. I would wash him so he can be at his cleanest and fluffiest. I got this Eeyore pillow pet to help me recover from my bilateral mastectomy surgery. It cheers me up every time I look at him! I love him so much! He’s soft, the perfect size, and adorable! Would definitely buy again! :)
