The media could not be loaded. Combining a carbon fiber + kevlar surface is pretty new tech in pickleball paddles. Buying from major brands using it right now is wildly expensive and not practical. VELO made this new tech affordable for anyone (thank you!). And they did it while using high quality materials. The surface has 3 Layers of 3K carbon fiber from Japan (grittier & tougher than T700).🔥 This adds considerable power to a 16 mm design. The added Kevlar + woven surface give the perk of more accuracy and control (kevlar is designed to hold the ball longer so that shots can be placed more specifically). The media could not be loaded. I’ve gotten two of these paddles and they have been a game changer for me. I am a high level player training to play professional pickleball, and the edge is now my go-to paddle. It’s gritty and forgiving, but still packs a punch for counters and drives. The ridges on the grip help a lot with changing your grip throughout the point, and the grip size is perfect if you use two hands on your backhand. Also using joola Hyperion. This is a similar feel but a wider handle which is easier on my wrists. Good control at the net. High quality material. Quickly becoming my favorite paddle!

    • Great paddle at a fantastic price
The paddle is very well made with a great balance of power and control. It feels soft in my hand and I like the length of the handle allowing for possible two handed backhand. It reduces vibrations well and and I have noticed that my spins are a bit more pronounced. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of the sweet spot the paddle had. It allowed for a fair amount of error correction. My only improvement to the paddle would be to put two weights at the bottom of the paddle to balance it since I find it to be a bit top heavy. I honestly believe that to get this quality paddle you need to spend at least twice as much. It is the best below $100 paddle I have played with. ... show more

This paddle is the real thing. Nicely balanced yielding excellent control, spin and power. Looks and feels like a paddle that is at least twice the cost! I am a 3.5 player and it improved my game immediately.
