They are fairly lightweight but have a solid feel to them. The handles have a decent amount of padding that has a nice tacky grip texture to them. I'm hardly a pickleball expert. I'm fairly new to the sport, and have been getting my feet wet by playing against a young child and initially borrowing her racket.
