This is my favorite mascara and I’ve tried so many! There.does require some attention when using to get the best result however. I have read complaints about the second step “filler/extender” falling off on face during wear and I’ve experienced this myself. What I’ve come to realize is the mascara itself must be moist enough for second step to adhere to lash and over time all mascaras will dry out. Tightening the mascara cap after using is first step but as product begins to dry out what do you do? My solution is to add a drop or two of sterile saline eye drops into mascara and mix well using it’s brush. The only negative thing to me is the spooly brush. I saved and use a spooly brush from a Maybelline volume express as needed ( I washed it with soap and water and keep it clean) ... show more

EVERY TIME I WENT TO USE THE LASH EXTENDER IT LEFT ALL KINDS OF LITTLE BLACK FIBERS ON MY FACE. IT TOOK ME AN HOUR JUST TO TRY TO GET MY LASHES TO LOOK GOOD ENOUGH TO GO OUT THE DOOR. THEY ENDED UP CLUMPY IN SOME PLACES AND THE CLUMPS FELL OFF IN OTHER PLACES. OF COURSE THAT ENDED UP ON MY FACE SO I HAD TO CLEAN THAT UP AS WELL AND REAPPLY MY FOUNDATION. The media could not be loaded. I recently tried this, I have it layered with a primer and it’s so good. Applicator for fibers is a little small but it definitely gets the job done.

Several issues--first is that it is super clumpy on the brush. It doesn't go on clumpy but the wand doesn't come out of the tube cleanly and it takes several swipes to get it ready to use. The second issue is that the tiny fiber threads drip all over your eyes and face as you apply. They stick to the mascara well and do lengthen your eye lashes, however, I got a loose fiber in my eye and it irritated my eye enough to make it water for an hour after applying. And thirdly, it's not even close to waterproof/resistant. I went to an event and had a few tears drop, and my mascara was all over my face. So, nope, not going to work for me. I have been using this for years. Makes my lashes look so thick they almost look fake sometimes. I love this product!! Don’t listen to any negative reviews, they probably just don’t know how to use it. You use the mascara and while it is still wet, you pack the extensions on your lashes but be careful not to get them in your eyes or around your face. ... show more

If you're looking for a Younique dupe, this isn't it. The mascara is not wet enough to allow the fibers to properly stick to your lashes. I had to apply about 10 coats to make any kind of difference. Not worth it.
