So sad, I purchased both the HX9954/56 and the Philips Sonic Care Essence. The brushes are like hard wire brushes. All three. The Sonic Care Essence is much better. Philips asked if they could track my brushing and when I read further Philips said that tracking my brushing also means tracking my social media and email. I decided to unregister and the site will not allow me to edit my profile (as promised in the terms and conditions). I'm not going to registers with my products with Philips any more. The customer support does not know how to do tech support. I want to send this product back. ... show more

I have used sonic care for years. My advice is to stay with the standard one. ..don’t bother with this pricy version. The multiple heads are a useless gimmick

Just unboxed and looks and smells like there is old toothpaste residue on it. It just arrived today and I unboxed it at night to brush my teeth before bed only to find this. I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to using it. The device came fully packaged and sealed. Whoever put this back did a fantastic job and deff works at a packaging company. Update: Called customer service and was immediately sent a replacement that was brand new. Love the device ... show more

You guys... this toothbrush is amazing. I upgraded from the cheapest Sonicare (essence) to the most expensive Sonicare. I can’t stop feeling how slimy my teeth are. It feels just like I left the dentist. The difference is night and day and my teeth are already noticeably whiter. I work in tech so I’m always a sucker for apps and technology that encourage me to take better care of myself. I love the app. I don’t understand why people are mad you have to bring your phone to brush your teeth because how else would you be able to see the diagram of the teeth you missed? I don’t think they are using that feature because your phone is the only way to view that. I read in another review that the pressure sensor was a waste of money because they had to push really hard to get it to go off. I swear I set that thing off 50x times the first time I brushed. I was brushing how I always do, not hard. Well it was too hard and I’ve already learned you just have to put the bristles to where they are basically straight and let the toothbrush do the work. It gives alerts when you are using too much pressure or moving too much. Then when it’s finished it shows you which teeth didn’t get as much attention as the others. Omg. I’ve scoffed at the idea of a toothbrush that costs more than $7 for DECADES. Pretty sure the last electric toothbrush I actually used had Snoopy on it. I finally broke down and bought one a few months ago because I was sick of feeling like I needed to brush again an hour after I brushed, my husband didn’t buy it for me for Christmas, so I said to h3ll with it and bought it myself. Let me tell ya…that first brush was LIFE CHANGING. I cannot believe I waited. Literally feels cleaner than after a dental cleaning. No joke. Multiple heads came with this one so my husband and I each were able to find a favorite that worked for us. It holds a charge forever. I rarely use the app but it maps your brushing and shows you where you can do better, times you, tells you your pressure is too hard…it’s a really good investment! Think of what you’ll save in dental repair if your mouth is clean as a whistle! 🤣 ... show more

First one arrived today and it was dead. It wouldn’t charge at all, in both the regular charger and the travel case. Replacement will be here next week, so I’ll leave it at one star until then. However, any product with a price tag on it like this one should not arrive dead.
