This is very inexpensive so I was surprised that it was so soft. I got this so I could cover my new fancy comforter while I saved up for an equally fancy duvet. This looks and feels great; I may not need the fancy duvet. Only “complaint” is that the duvet is king so it came with king pillowcases. They’re too big for my standard pillowcases. Added great pop of color to a plain blanket. I did have an issue that mine was missing one of the 4 corner ties which doesn't help the duvet shifting. I also wish there were more ties to hold the duval in place at the top as when you pull on the cover the blanket shifts inside. This is my main complaint but new to the duvet world so maybe just me. Our previous duvet cover was thicker and so it didn't move with insert. Even with the ties on the inside corners, the insert would slip down. This one does not do that at all. Pleased based on what we paid. We have to wash duvets for pet hair a lot. The zipper is a lot more convenient than buttons. Very soft. Caution: the white will show through if your comforter is not light with no patterns. Not a problem if you have a white insert.
