  • Decent set in price range
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
The bag is sturdy, makes carrying or hauling the clubs around easy. The clubs are a standard length with the driver measuring at 45" and are lightweight making for an easier swing even for beginners as I am. My experience stops at putt-putt. This set is built with quality material and does not feel too heavy while using. Not being a professional limits the comparison and knowing what each swing should feel like. Since the driver is the club to start the game and seems the most challenging for me, I practice more often with this while at home. It has a huge head, making it easier to hit the ball. These are quality clubs and a good value for the money spent. ... show more

  • Great Set, top of #3 driver dents easily
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
I got this set for my teen who joined the high school boys golf team as well as to share with myself since I have been away from the game for about several years. It is a great looking bag and club set. The bag has lots of storage for golf balls, tees, club cleaners, and more. It has handles to carry it as well as a shoulder harness for those longer hauls without a cart. The top cover that goes over the clubs is sufficient for storage and light rain purposes but it's kinda cheap looking and sounding when you wrestle with it. The bag has a kickstand that swings out when you lean the bag forward on the ground which allows you to stand it up and access the clubs. I've not had any issues with the kickstand/legs after a couple months of use. It comes with the 6-9, pitching and sand wedges as far as irons go. They perform very well for entry level and for someone brushing the rust off their game. The perform better than some older clubs (about 40 years old) that we tried out at the same time - which we still use the 3 & 5 irons since this set only has the four 6 to 9 irons. They clean up nice but will not handle real rough areas that you need to swing from. Our #7 has a lot of scratches after playing from some rough areas. The other clubs look like they are barely used even when used under similar play. Not sure if we can clean that up or not. The #1 driver and the hybrid #4 are great and have performed well for us. Each driver has a sock cover which is good but not super fancy by any means. The #3 drive was doing well but after the game today where I hit under the ball twice (where it hit the top of the club instead of the face), I found that the drivers dent very easily if the non-face part of the club comes into contact with a regular golf ball on a driving hit. I added a pic where you can see the 2 dents on top of the club. I deducted 1 star for the lower quality on the driver heads that make them look look like crap if you suck on a swing or two and hit below the ball on a rubber tee and the impact is on top of the club instead of its face. Not happy at all with that revelation. Might even deduct a second star for it if I need to circle back to this review later. Despite the #3 driver that is easily damaged, I still recommend this set for a beginner or "rusty" re-entering player. Just don't miss the ball and hit under it on a tee-off drive :) ... show more

  • Fantastic Starter or Casual Play Golf Club Set
Size: [Length: 1 Inch LTS] Style Name: Right Hand
This is the junior version of a ready-to-go set of Wilson clubs in terms of construction, materials, and general usability. For the price point ($260 when I picked them up) I feel this is a decent set of clubs, perfect for a new or casual player. The kit includes 10 golf clubs, 3 covers (driver, wood, and hybrid), and a pretty nice quality (but still lightweight) golf bag with a bipod stand, rain cover, and shoulder straps. As long as you aren't expecting these to perform like a $500+ set of clubs I think you will be happy with them. I am a casual player on a good year, so definitely not an aficionado, but I am impressed by the bang for the buck on this kit. As long as the price doesn't increase when they are back in stock I would highly recommend these as a starter set or a gift for someone who may be interested in a new sport. ... show more

  • Junk Junk Junk

Wow, first time out on driving range, seriously the head of the 3 flew over 125 yards. So glad I didn't hit anyone flying off on the back swing. Scary.

  • Nice set of clubs!
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
I've had a set of clubs for sometime and they seem to work decent, although they don't have a great sweet spot on them. I found these clubs and from everything that I've read they appear to be very beginner friendly. You'll get a full set which includes woods, irons, the bag, bag cover, and club covers for the woods. This is a reasonably priced set that comes with everything you need to hit the golf course less golf balls. The clubs are lightweight, yet they have a solid feel to them. The swing feels good and they are comfortable given my stature: 5'11." The stand built into the bag is also a nice feature, along with numerous pockets to hold your tees, balls, towel, etc. The price is very reasonable for what you get, give them a try! ... show more

  • Great value for decent clubs (not an expert opinion)
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
PGF Men's Titanium Mustang MK7 Complete Golf Club Package Set [14-Pieces] Okay, I am not a golfing expert, I have played golf but not for many years. I used to rent or borrow clubs at the driving range or local municipal course. I thought I would attempt to get back into it. These seem excellent to me, lightweight balanced, good grips and a decent bag, all at a good price. If you want to start golf but don't want to spend a lot of money in case you don't get into it, these are for you. Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful! REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely. ... show more
