  • Solid Starter Set for Weekend Warriors
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
If you're just getting into golf or need a budget-friendly backup set, this 17-piece golf club package is a great option. The set comes with everything you need to hit the course, including a driver, woods, hybrids, irons, and a putter, all neatly packed in a decent-quality bag. I appreciated how lightweight the clubs are, making them easy to swing, even if you're still mastering your form. The grips are comfortable, and the hybrids are particularly beginner-friendly—definitely a confidence booster when you're trying to hit those tricky fairway shots. The bag is functional with plenty of pockets for balls, tees, and snacks (very important), though the zippers and padding could use a bit of an upgrade. As for the clubs, they’re not pro-level, but they’re forgiving enough for beginners and casual players. The putter is decent, though it might not win any awards for precision. However, I did manage one of my straightest drives ever with the driver, which might be a fluke—or a sign this set actually delivers on performance. Overall, this set is a great value for the price and perfect for someone who’s just getting into the sport or plays a few times a year. It’s not without its quirks, but for the cost, it’s a solid way to get out on the course without breaking the bank. ... show more

  • Excellent beginner set for those of us who are weekend warriors
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
I'm not a huge golfer. From around 2001 to now, I've had the same "hand me down" set of clubs that have done well for me. But they are well beyond their age. I don't go golfing with professionals, so I don't get too many jokes from my friends, but I'm sure about my fellow golfers at the courses. I'm sure they've laughed inside. What do you do when you barely golf but want a set on hand when you do the 4-5 a year? You get something affordable. Some club sets are crazy expensive. Some of the ones I've seen at the warehouse stores are even $500+. Affordability doesn't necessarily mean cheap, however. This PGF "Gold" version complete set has everything you'd need for $350. That's a great middle-ground for me. Sure, even cheaper ones are available, but these are an excellent middle ground between inexpensive and quality. I love the style of these. They don't necessarily look unique, but they are nice, nevertheless. I love the weight of them. I'm 6' 3" and got the standard set, but I probably could have gone for the more extended version. I've read a few unfavorable reviews on the durability of this set, but I haven't had any issues the one time I played with them so far. Quality control can be an issue with any brand, so there may be a few bad apples in the stock. Luckily Amazon has a good policy regarding items that don't meet expectations - if you catch it early on. ... show more

  • Great set for the price!
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
My clubs were lost/stolen and were more expensive then these. Figured I would give these a try and was very impressed. Unless you are an every day golfer this set would suit your needs. I would say the irons and putter are specifically impressive and I wouldn't have changed those out even for the more expensive clubs. I did get a new driver and three wood beyond these though, but the quality competition on those is much steeper then irons and you can find those cheap and golf resale shops. But even for an iron set this is a good price so I didn't knock it any more stars. Also love the putter as it keeps me more balanced in my swing. ... show more

It comes with a number of different sizes and you can find which ones suit you best. It comes with a carry bag that is very nice. The colors go with everything and the material is strong. • The wood broke in first swing

The clubs are beautiful , but clearly not good quality. I didn’t even hit the first ball that the wood broke in half

  • Solid set of beginner clubs
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
It's winter here in FL and relief from the heat has arrived so I've been able to get out and given these clubs a try. A few observations: *Reasonably priced beginner set that includes everything you need to get started, including the bag. Unless you are scoring under 100 consistently, you don't need a more expensive set of clubs. *Of the clubs that are included, I think the irons of of better quality than the woods. I have actually used PGF irons previously and I think they actually make good irons. *I would have liked a 4 iron. I like having 3 and 4 irons in my bag, but I understand that they had to draw the line somewhere, it's pretty standard to include 5 - PW. Overall, I can recommend this set for any beginner. As your game develops, you will likely want to add clubs or upgrade them along the way, but this is a good starter set at a reasonable price point. ... show more

  • Great starter set
Size: [Length: Standard] Style Name: Right Hand
This is a great starter set of clubs. Add some tees and balls and you are ready to roll. I don't golf often, so I am not at all an expert. The bag is good for the price, the build quality isn't top notch, but good for the price. The straps are adequately padded, the nylon pockets are a little thin with basic zippers. There are plenty of pockets to store everything you will need. The bag has an interesting foot that feels when it is tilting back and automatically kicks out the legs and retracts when picking up. The clubs have a nice selection of everything you need. They are lightweight and feel forgiving. The grips are comfortable. You won't mistake these for high end clubs, but for a starter set these feel great. I like the style of putter, and feel easy to control. I haven't used the hybrid 3 / 4 style before, I think I will like this better than a traditional 3 /4 iron. Nice club covers for driver, 3 wood, and 3 / 4 hybrids. Overall, a great set for beginners at a reasonable price. ... show more
