Ordered this set of golf clubs to replace a set that was getting to the end of life. This golf club set comes packed secure, each club is individually wrapped, then wrapped again, then wrapped together, I was extremely impressed with the care taken to protect the clubs in shipping. Let us start with the bag, first this has backpack style straps so you can carry it without straining one side or the other. Then the storage space in the bag is amazing, you can fit everything you need for a day on the course an then some. I play most a par 3, par 4 course and found the hybrid 3 really did most of the work throughout the day and barely used the driver. I did add a rescue wedge from PFG to this kit for those pesky beach days. Lastly, this bag comes with a rain cover so you can keep water out of your equipment if it just happens to rain. Overall, this set of clubs makes me want to go hit some flowers and get blessed by the Dalai Lama. ... show more

First I gotta comment on how well protected this set was upon arrival. I was kinda wondering how this was gonna go. They did a great job protecting everything for shipping. Aside from that this is a great starter set. I did a little research and I know the difference between a great set and a basic starting set like this. At this price, I consider this affordable for what's included. Everything needed to play with is included. Driver, putters, irons... they are all of pretty good quality and they are comfortable to play with. Decently weighted allowing great swinging play. It's just a nice set that I'll be sticking with even after hubby moves up lol I'm very comfortable with this set. The bag is great. It's extremely easy to carry. You can carry it over the shoulder or on your back and for the size it's pretty easy on my back. There is room for everything needed, plus more. The legs push out smoothly, there is a cover for when it rains. The bag is thick and durable and will probably last years. Overall I don't think you'd be disappointed with having this as a starting set. They look great and sport a nice smooth finish. I can see dressing them up with some custom covers and really enjoying this for a few years! ... show more

Haven't been golfing long, got a bucket of 40 balls, about 25 in I noticed my driver felt lighter on the back swing and when I looked down the driver head was still between my feet. Woods are alright, irons are okay, but the driver is garbage. I'd like to chalk this up to a factory defect but I am LIVID. Didn't make it through it's FIRST BUCKET OF BALLS. I’m not a golfer per se, but I got these clubs so I could play socially and hit the driving range while developing my skills for the long term. These clubs are great for that purpose. They feel good in your hands, they are forgiving, and the kit includes everything you need to go play a round (minus balls and tees). For reference, I’m about 5’6” and these feel like a great fit for me. Sure, it’s missing some options, but again for a beginner I don’t really care. I’m not the guy out there with the laser rangefinder, the shoes, the gloves, and all that trying to hit 10 under par. The bag is also very well designed; it holds everything securely (even when your cart driver may have had a few too many drinks), it’s durable, and there are plenty of functional pockets. I was able to hold balls, sunblock, a 32 oz water bottle, and snacks with plenty of room to spare in the bag the other day. This is just a great buy at this price point for what you get. I’m an “occasional” golfer and got this set to update a really old set I’ve had for a long time. I like the feel of the clubs in this set and the bag is a bonus. This set doesn’t come with the entire complement of irons like my old set. Guess I’ll just have to practice more with the “woods”, which, for me, is hit or miss on the fairway or the rough.
