I was in the market for a soft carrier for my cat because she hates the plastic carrier so much. I’m hoping she won’t be as scared of a soft one. I also have another big boy (16 lbs) and the way the top detaches from the bottom of the plastic carrier makes me scared to carry it by the handle with him in it. I bought three because I had a hard time choosing and this is the one I’m probably going to keep. First of all, it’s the biggest of the three. I didn’t think an inch here and there would make much difference, but it’s noticeable, and like I said, I have a big boy. He needs the space. The mat in the bottom is a hard material too so I’m not worried about it bending under his weight like I am with the one that has a mat made of PVC. The downside is that, while it’s soft, it’s not very cushy. The one with PVC also has foam pieces making it soft and cushy and I wish this one had some foam. But I’m not planning on using it for long trips, just trips to the vet, so it doesn’t really matter. The other downside of this mat is that it doesn’t zip off to be cleaned in the washing machine like the other ones, and that does suck, especially since it’s a light color. The biggest reason I chose this one is that the design has the most pros and the least cons of the three I purchased. One of the others was vetoed quickly because the ends have to be zipped closed for it to stand up and it leaves only a very small side entrance and the top opening. The sides are what holds this one up as well (which is how they get them to fold flat for storage), however, one end has a separate opening and the side opening is quite large (as is the top but they all have that). I do wish the end opening opened down and not up so it could stay open on its own but I can live with it the way it is. The other nice thing is that the side and end openings have covers that you can velcro closed for darkness/privacy or clip up so your cat see out. Other features of this one that the other two I bought don’t have include plastic feet on the bottom that may or may not help keep it clean and a pocket on the end that isn’t an opening. They all have something inside to connect to a collar so your furry friend won’t escape if you want to open it. The straps, handles, and zippers all seem fine; nothing special but I didn’t spend special kind of money. It was only about $16 during prime days so a really good deal. We’ll see how it holds up after some use and I’ll update my review if anything changes my thoughts. ... show more

I had high expectations for this carrier because of the price and also the photos look way better than the actual product—so misleading. The material is actually incredibly thin that I feel I have to be delicate with how I open and close the flaps and zipper other wise it will break. I can’t even use this! On the plus side, this is a perfect carrier for a pet rabbit or even a stuffed animal but definitely not for a cat or small dog. ... show more

Very good quality pet carrier. The seams are well sewn, the straps are nice and strong, the material is strong. The side and end screens have roll up covers. The top screen does not. There's a plush wool-type floor. And the whole thing folds mostly flat for convenient storage or transport when not in use. ... show more

This carrier is awesome. We needed another one because we adopted a new cat from a shelter. She loved going in her new carrier. She was quite comfortable. I like that it has flaps that can cover the windows incase she gets nervous traveling. I am very pleased with this product.

This is lightweight and easy to use and stow away. The multiple entries make it easy to install and/or remove a reluctant cat from the carrier. The zippers are easy to maneuver and appear durable. Nice cat carrier, but more of a mediumish than large. Thought I’d be able to squeeze both my cats in it but no way, they’re both a bit smaller. It fits 1 of them comfortably. My cats immediately jumped in it and already like it so that’s a plus. The flaps are an added bonus.
