My 6 year old granddaughter loved this toy. The hamster runs all over the room in its ball. It looks like a real hamster as it maneuvers all over the room. Didn't work well on carpet, but zooms all over a tile or concrete floor.

My pup loves playing with my neighbors guinea pigs so I thought I’d see what she thought of a Zhu Zhu pet. I found one and the same colors as her “friend” Ginger. I initially just set it on the ground without turning it on. She was quite interested. When I touched the back button and turned it on her eyes lit up and she started playing with it like she does with the real ones. I haven’t put it in the ball for her yet but I think she likes it. It’s the perfect size for her and she is not a chewer or rough with her toys so I think the stability is there. It’s also very soft. I won’t let her play with this without my supervision but overall think she enjoys her stand-ins when she can’t play with the real thing. ... show more
