I was so excited when the box arrived!!! When I pulled it out of the box, my first thought was... This is more blue than pink. It is an hombre pink that has a light blue that runs down into the pink but none of the photos depict the color as bold it was when I pulled it out of the box. I literally logged back into my account to make sure I ordered "pink", and I did. Okay, so I got over that and put it together. I only struggled a little with that first zipper that connects the straps to the cover and then I put the little floor piece in and the Velcro pieces didn't match up right. I would think the bottom piece that inserts over the floor would cover the area where the feet are attached to the exterior on the front of the bag, but it didn't so I will have to put another cushion in there to cover the hard part of the case so my kitten's feet/clows don't somehow get caught up. All in all, I do really like the bag, even though the color wasn't what I expected. The fit is AMAZING!!! It rests perfectly on my back & hits my lower back right where I need it to. So, despite a couple minor funky details, I'm keeping the bag & can't wait to go pick up my new baby in October. ... show more

Used this a few times now and At first my son’s kitten didn’t enjoy being contained but eventually she began to enjoy it. It’s perfect for when she needs her nap after being out and about in the city and watchful eyes are always tempted to touch her… I haven’t got to use the fan yet since the weather is fair where I am. The vents allow plenty of air flow and the tint in the screen allows shade for the cat… I received many compliments on the pod and we find it very useful. A little bit on the bulky side but spacious for our kitten who will soon be a cat. We are very pleased with this purchase <3 ... show more

i absolutely LOVE this backpack. i can’t tell you enough how incredible it is. the fan inside is great for a little breeze, but it seems like it’s gotten less strong after use. i have 2 cats - my 20lb cat is far too big for it now, but my kitten is 6 months old and he is perfect for it. i included some pictures from 4-6 months to show how well he fits. my black and white cat was around 10 months when he used the backpack, and he was ~12lbs. he just got so big it didn’t make sense to try anymore. orange cat has room to curl up at the bottom, to sit up fully, sniff around, and revel in the attention from everyone at the farmers market every week. the small pocket fits the portable charger for the fan and more, and the back pocket is perfect for a tote bag (we mostly use the backpack for the farmers market lol). the plastic dome front is nice because it muffled a little sound, and i’ve noticed that he really likes that in comparison to his carrier. i just plop him in and we go! PLEASE invest in this backpack if you have a small-medium cat, it’s absolutely perfect. cannot recommend it enough. ... show more

Kimmy Katdashian is the sweetest girl ever - except for when she is in her cat carrier. As soon as we bring it out of the closet, she turns into a crotchety old lady, kind of like Jekyll and Hyde, but made entirely out of whiskers and lint. She doesn’t hesitate to let us know how she feels about it either, because she howls incessantly the ENTIRE TIME she’s in there, to the point that she “loses her voice” and her meow and purr are squeaky for day or so afterwards. Since she’s been a robustly healthy girl, the carrier situation wasn’t a huge problem, as she only needed to go to the vet for well visits. Unfortunately, as she entered her sunset years, she has taken up the mantle from the late Wilford Brimley and was recently diagnosed with the diabeetus. Her trips to the vet will be more frequent while we figure out to manage her diabetes with prescription food and insulin shots. Because I am a little extra and I love my cat, I decided that she should travel happy, and in style! She is an indoor cat, but she absolutely loves going outside with a harness and leash, which is how we know it’s the carrier itself that she hates. So as soon as her spaceship arrived, I unpacked it and left it out for a few days with the back open for her to get used to it. Today, I put her harness on (which she happily steps into because she knows it means we are going on an outside adventure!) and put her in the spaceship for a short walk outside. Not only did she *not* hate it (as evidenced by the absence of her singing the song of her people for all to hear) she actually seemed quite cozy and was purring! I gave her a treat as soon as I unzipped it to let her out and she is still my friend so I am calling this backpack a success! I haven’t tried the light or the fan yet because she was only in it very briefly. Also worth noting, is that Kimmy is quite small, weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds 3 ounces as of her last trip to the vet, so I can’t say for sure, but I HIGHLY doubt any of my other 3 cats - who happen to be fat, murder mitt wielding freeloaders - would fit in it. Overall, this backpack is reasonably priced, looks adorable, and Kimmy Katdashian definitely prefers it to her cat carrier, so I think this was a good purchase all around. ... show more

Ease of use, ease of assembly. Much room for my 14month old kitty. I love the fan and light features. I'd recommend this carrier to every cat parent.

This says it will fit a pet up to 17 pounds. My cat is 12.5 pounds, but he's just sort of a broad hunk of a cat, so when I put him in here, he really doesn't have much room. I can't imagine a 17-pound pet in here. They will have NO room, so be careful when purchasing. The carrier, however, seems comfortable for me to carry my cat to and from the vet, which is the most important thing (since we're going by foot and public transit). When I set the carrier upright, my cat is forced to sit up awkwardly without much room to turn around. However, when I put the carrier on its back, my cat has more room to lie down and relax like a traditional carrier. ... show more
