We have both a 75 pound dog and a 7 pound dog, and they LOVE car rides. The car doesn't always love having them though, am I right? This dog sling comes well packaged, is padded for them, there's a nice air pocket in the middle so they can have some AC or heat, there's a safety harness included as well! Despite a couple snafus while installing, I was able to get this installed in about ten minutes by myself. I particularly like the side panels that help protect the doors from overzealous little pupper paws and the mesh panel in the front so I can peek back at them and also direct my air vents to keep them nice and cool. The material seems well made and sturdy and it seems easy to clean which is nice! I imagine I could take a hose to it without worrying about its structural integrity and with a pup that tends to get car sick, that’s huge. It fit the back of my SUV nicely, I imagine it would be too big and bulky for a smaller vehicle. ... show more

This is the second pet car seat cover I have purchased. Last one was the iBuddy seat cover which lasted five years with regular use and withstood dog vomit. Tried this option based on budget and the fabric on edges of iBuddy cover had started deteriorating. I liked that this one had smaller stitching and better edging. In addition to that I have found that: Pros: covers entire back of seat and doors (gmc terrain), anchors into seat to minimize movement of the cover on the leather seat, large mesh vent to allow air flow and see my dogs, at least water resistant not sure yet about water proof, bottom of one side can be unzipped to allow for a passenger to sit next to dogs if needed, cover is not too cumbersome to move in and out of the car. Cons: fit isn’t great across seat- bunches in areas even with adjustment, seat belt that comes with the cover is weak with a very small clip and lightweight fabric (definitely for smaller inactive dogs, I will be using the better quality seat belt that came with iBuddy and the one I purchased from Kong), straps and clips to hold up side flaps weak and will likely not last long clipping and unclipping to get dogs in and out of car, openings to access seatbelt are Velcro and do not Velcro back together around buckle leaving large gap for pet hair and puppy paws to get into, smell of product has a distinct odor that mostly goes away with time. ... show more
