I bought this for our recently adopted dog, Mr Bojangles. He gets sick riding in the car going through the mountain curves and hills. I bought this to put in my Silverado truck. The seatbelt goes through the bottom loops to secure it. The upper straps go around the headrest. It has a harness that keeps him in the confines of the booster seat. He is one hundred percent secure in every way. The seat it self is very soft and comfortable. I actually had a car pull out in front of me and I had to slam on my breaks. The booster seat did not move and it kept him in the seat secure. If you ever had a dog fly off the seat when you hit your brakes, you know how important it is for them to be safe. There are pockets on the sides for his water dish and water bottle, and "doggie poop bags". Bo is 22 pounds and this was a perfect size. He was able to sit up and look through the door window and front window. It was perfect for him to curl up and lay down. I thought if he could see the road, maybe he wouldn't get car sick, and it worked! Bo got in the seat and never tried to get out. When I left him to run in the store, he stayed in place! I never thought a dog booster seat would be so wonderful. Bo absolutely loved it and seemed to be extremely comfortable. No more car sickness, no more wandering around on the seat, and able to look out all windows. What else could a dog want? Oh yeah, it came with a blanket too. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely adore this car seat for my dog. She is a shihpoo and weighs 15 lbs. The seat provides her with enough space to lie down and sleep when she's not looking out the window. Initially, I bought this seat so she could look outside my car window, since she's not tall enough to look outside. It also serves as her bed during road trips. I love the material and how easy it is to clean. It even came with a blanket that she loves because it's very soft. What I like the most is that you can strap the car seatbelt to it, ensuring it stays in place in case of sudden stops. Additionally, it has a seatbelt that I attach to her vest to prevent her from moving while driving. The media could not be loaded. My dog is 25 pounds and this dog car seat is fantastic. It’s elevated so he’s higher up in the car which means he can see more even though he’s a little dog! He’s happier higher up. It’s very padded and soft on every side. It has two side pockets for added storage. The back allows you to use the seat belt to secure the bottom of the seat and an over the head rest strap to secure it a bit more. There is also a clip to attach it to the pups collar or harness. Now that we aren’t traveling I leave the car seat at home for toy storage and a bed for the pup he loves it. ... show more

Perfect size for my 12 lb short Jack Russell. Fabric is very nice. Came completely assembled but vacuum sealed. I tossed it in the dryer for a few minutes and it fluffed right up. I'm sure it would have gotten there eventually on its own. There can be some permanent bends in the foam though. The back of mine bows inward, which is fine, but if it were somewhere else might be annoying. It sits considerably lower than my ancient Snoozer, like 4" shorter. It's working out better than I expected because he can snuggle down and not be distracted by everything. He can still stand up with feet on the windowsill and see out, but you may not want that. We use two seatbelts. The passenger side shoulder belt gets fed through two loops on the back of the seat. Slightly awkward to get it snapped in and then tightened down. We then secure his tether into the middle seat lock, feeding the tether up the back of the seat between the strap that goes around the headrest. This keeps him from having too much lead and moving around the rest of the back seat. It's a keeper, but they all have pros and cons. We've had three different brands and haven't found what I would consider the ideal one. Satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

My 12# silky terrier loves this booster. My husband set it up on the sofa and declared now she can easily see TV. That is exactly what the dog did climbed into the booster seat and started to use it as her bed. You can tell she loves it, like all the happy smiling dog pictures show. When my husband grabbed her booster seat to set it up in our RAV4 our dog looked bewildered, sighed and started to sulk. That dissipated when she learned she was going for a car ride. Hubby came back with dog and booster seat in tow and said you better order another one, one for the trucks and 1 for the sofa. I told him how much it was with the coupon, he said look the dog likes the car seat, works like they show, unzips to clean, looks good and you can see it's quality, get another one. So here I am ordering another one :) I like it because a have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this is pretty easy for me to get it in place and use it. The design is a simple but effective design, people with RA learn how to cope and work around the temporary barriers. Excellent product. This item is easy to install and remove. I keep them in place most of the time, but should a human need the seat, it comes off easily. My dogs love them and can use them to see out the window or take a nap.

I just got a cocker spaniel puppy that I plan on taking with me on my many travels. I wanted to have him safe while he rode and I wanted him to not be able to try to get on my lap. This seat is nice because it straps in with your seat belt and there is a tether that keeps him from being propelled forward (or getting out of the seat). It is comfortable for them, he just sleeps the whole ride. It has 2 pockets for storage and organizing dog items. I have already sent this item to all my friends.
