While this pet grooming brush works very well to remove the winter undercoat of fur and any loose hair from your pet, I have found another equally important use for it. I bought one for our cat for which it works very well and realized it would also easily clean the hair from his other brushes. It cleaned the brushes effortlessly. I bought a second brush in purple color to clean my wife's hair brushes which get full of hair and it worked better than other hair brush cleaners that I've bought in past. It's well worth the money for either use. It is built very sturdy. As a pet brush it works very well to remove loose hair, but be careful to only to make light strokes as it will makes knots if you go too deep in a single stroke. If used as intended with only light strokes, it will do a great job of grooming your pet. ... show more

I love how the brush removes the excess fur on my long hair cat, and she really enjoys it. But, not all the fur stays in the brush. Even though I remove the fur from the tongs regularly, a little still flies around. It's not bad, but a little annoying. Other than that, I'm glad I switched from the comb. Good buy ! ... show more

I bought this to deshed my Nebelung cat as she had some lingering under coat that was starting to look a little ratty and thick. She loves this brush until you get to the lower hind end where her hair is thicker and you can feel the resistance of the hair in the brush getting into tougher area. It can pull roughly and that's when the claws come out. So I proceed very slowly and talk sweetly and she allows the brushing without a problem. You cannot just start brushing a cat vigorously like a dog. She's not a fan of her belly brushed so I use a Trimmer to keep her bottom and belly clean. I absolutely reccomend this product especially at this price point for a great product that does the job well. Now when I go out to the catio each morning she comes to me when I pick the brush up and lays beside to be brushed. Just learn your pets temperment. ... show more

I have 3 cats, one short hair, one medium, and one long haired. A regular brush doesn't work for the medium and long haired kitties. This brush is amazing, it pulls out the undercoat fur and I've noticed less hairballs as well. Seriously such a great product for a low price.
