My dogs go CRAZY for this, and it makes me super happy to know it has none of the bad ingredients that ruin their teeth and hurt their gut, this jerky is awesome! My dog Duke is a little picky, but he went for this very quickly! I’ve bought it about 6 times now i think, and it always goes over well lol. Even I think it smells good to be honest. I’d recommend it! It’s very refreshing to find something that is just 1 ingredient without added colors or sugars that is not a 40$ dollar bag, so i see this as a steal. I try to prolong its life by only giving my two dogs one nice sized piece each (according to their size), and incorporating another treat for the rest of the day that i can get a bigger quantity of. It's glass hard. It's not a treat a dog can chew on for some time. It just brakes into crumbles. My 15 lb cheewiny had a hard time with a whole piece, so I had to brake it to smaller pieces. I don't plan to buy more. I prefer softer or chewable treat for my dog. But it seems my dog liked the taste.

Yes, they do have a strong fishy smell but that doesn't bother her and I would be a little leery if they didn't smell since they are fish! The product sounds amazing from the package. I’m surprised at the many good reviews. Mine arrived in large pieces ( not dust as the others mentioned ). The pieces are shiny as if they were sprayed with something to preserve it. It mentions. Nothing of this on the package. The pieces were so hard that i couldn’t even break apart with my hands. I had to get scissors ( I’m a strong 40 yo male ). I had to break into very small pieces for my 11 pound mini Australian Shepherd. Otherwise she would have choked. She at first didn’t eat them. She eats everything ( not finicky at all ). She has a stomach of steel. When i went to clean them up off the floor she dove for them and gobbled the overly stinky shiny treats up. About an hour later she vomited brown goop with chips of the treat in the vomit. She appeared dizzy and loopy. I gave her some water and she slept. Woke up back to normal. I waited a little over a week before giving her this treat again and the same vomit and disorientation. She eats salmon regularly so doubtful it’s an allergy. The glaze on the treat and how rock hard they are concern me. Obviously i threw them out and won’t buy again. I’d be very cautious buying these treats.
